Chris Jericho confronts Matt Cardona: Chris Jericho, calling himself the “King of New York,” addressed the crowd, claiming Matt Cardona had disrespected him by assaulting him and accosting his hat. Jericho dared Cardona to face him, and Cardona responded by stepping into the ring. Cardona declared that he had spent the last five years reinventing himself as the “King of the Indies” and “Death Match King,” asserting that if anyone deserved the title of King of New York, it was him.
