The New Day remained a popular group in WWE for a decade, creating lots of fun and memorable moments. However, on the December 2nd episode of Monday Night RAW, the group officially split up after Big E was kicked out. Fans now wonder if someone else will take Big E’s spot and in that regard, Wes Lee has addressed potentially joining The New Day.

A fan took to Twitter and suggested that Wes Lee should be added to The New Day so that all three can become a pure heel group. The fan added that Wes Lee can then talk about how he was in a group that left him, similar to what Big E did to The New Day, saying, “Add @WesLee_WWE to @AustinCreedWins and @TrueKofi to form a new Heel New Day….and Wes can talk about how he was in a group that left him also just like big E left Kofi and Creed…”

Wes Lee saw the fan’s tweet and had a positive response to potentially joining Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, as he simply stated that fans would not be ready for him to join The New Day in the future, saying, “Yall wouldn’t be ready for that…”

Fans might have expected The New Day to split eventually, but no one saw it coming that both Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods would turn on Big E so coldly, ending their 10-year friendship in such a shocking way.

Even The Miz approved of Big E getting kicked out of The New Day, leaving room for a new member. Only time will tell whether Wes Lee will end up joining The New Day somewhere down the line, as he could change the group’s dynamite in a big way.

Is Wes Lee the right fit for The New Day, or should the group remain a duo? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
