WWE’s transition to Netflix is seen as a monumental move for the company and fans can expect quite a few changes in 2025. This also includes WWE involving more celebrities in their programming, as Triple H has just confirmed the same.
While speaking to Deadline, Triple H talked about the celebrities WWE has worked with over the past few years, including the likes of Bad Bunny, Jelly Roll and others. The Cerebral Assassin confirmed that there will be more celebrity involvement on Raw, which could be a great chance for one of these celebrities, who have expressed interest in wrestling, to get involved.
Triple H also shared that Jelly Roll is still excited about wrestling. Every time they meet, Jelly Roll talks about his progress, stating he’s lost another 100 pounds and is eager to have a match with WWE.
“I just saw Jelly Roll the other day and he’s still raving about wrestling. Every time I see him he says the same thing, ‘I got another 100 pounds ago, baby, and I’m doing a match with you guys.”
Jelly Roll has already confirmed he wants to have a proper WWE run in the future, so it comes as no surprise he is working hard to reach that goal and give fans something memorable somewhere down the line.
Triple H has already called WWE’s Netflix era “Bigger than the Attitude Era,” so his confidence isn’t without good reason and an increased involvement with celebrities will certainly ensure WWE reaches that goal. There is a lot of anticipation for WWE’s move to Netflix and both parties are pulling out all the stops to make sure everything goes smoothly as they approach the beginning of a new era.
