Could The Rock be making his way to WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas? While recent reports suggested WWE creative is moving forward without him, a new update indicates the Hollywood icon might still have a surprise in store.

Ringside News recently learned from The Dirt Sheet’s Billi Bhatti that The Rock has been dropping cryptic hints about his WrestleMania plans. During promotional work for Disney’s Moana 2, The Rock told Bhatti’s son Austin, “I hope to see you in Vegas,” a statement that seemingly points to his involvement in the massive 2025 event. This contradicts earlier reports that WWE is planning WrestleMania without The Rock due to his packed schedule and uncertain availability.

While speculation about The Rock’s WrestleMania status has swirled for months, Dave Meltzer previously reported that The Rock told WWE he wouldn’t be available. However, The Rock shot back at that claim on Instagram, telling fans to “not believe that s***t.”

The Rock’s surprise cameo at Bad Blood earlier this year fueled similar speculation. WWE sources noted that his appearance was confirmed only days before the show and wasn’t intended to kick off a major storyline. Instead, it was a standalone moment to energize fans. Sources told Fightful that creative plans for WrestleMania are moving forward under the assumption that The Rock won’t be available, but “anything is possible.”

Adding another layer of intrigue, The Rock and Cody Rhodes reportedly filmed something together during the Moana premiere earlier this year. While the purpose remains unclear, fans are already speculating about a potential WWE connection. During a promotional interview for Moana, The Rock even referred to Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, and WWE President Nick Khan as his “WWE family,” leaving the door open for a possible WrestleMania storyline.

While WWE creative might be moving on without him, The Rock clearly has his own plans brewing. With his cryptic comments during Moana 2 promotions, it’s looking like The Great One could be cooking up a surprise for WrestleMania 41. Don’t count him out just yet—The Rock has a knack for shaking things up, just as he did at WrestleMania 40 earlier this year, when he came in and completely flipped the script.

What’s your take on The Rock’s cryptic Vegas comment? Do you think he’s teasing a WrestleMania appearance, or is it just wishful thinking? Share your thoughts in the comments!
