Braun Strowman, WWE’s “Monster of All Monsters,” is stepping into the spotlight outside the squared circle of WWE while he recovers from injury.

The former Universal Champion has been off TV since tearing his groin during a brutal Last Monster Standing match against Bronson Reed on the September 30 edition of Monday Night RAW. While he remains absent from WWE programming, Strowman is set to make a special guest appearance at GLCW’s Blizzard Brawl event on December 7.

The towering Superstar will trade his wrestling boots for a referee shirt, officiating a high-profile tag team match. The match features The Newest Rockers (Kal Herro & Al Snow) taking on the fan-favorite duo of Santino Marella and Damien Sandow. Strowman hyped up the event on his Instagram Stories, writing, “When the monster comes around!!!! Standing Room Only – $20 in advance or $25 at the door.”

This marks a rare outside appearance for the WWE Superstar, who most recently competed in a dark match following SmackDown on November 15. While no official return to WWE television has been announced, Strowman’s involvement in Blizzard Brawl gives fans a glimpse of the monster back in action—albeit in a different capacity.

Fans are left wondering if this referee role hints at what’s next for Strowman as he recovers, or if this is just a one-off appearance to keep his monstrous presence alive in the wrestling world.

What do you think of Braun Strowman stepping into the referee’s role outside of WWE? Could this hint at other non-WWE appearances, or will he focus on his in-ring return soon? Drop your thoughts below!
