It’s Wednesday night and you know what that means! AEW Dynamite will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the December 4, 2024 episode.

The show opens up with Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and “Daddy Magic” Matt Menard welcoming us, while the camera pans to the live fans in attendance and seems to stop on a “Free Fenix” sign. We then get a video package recapping the Continental Classic matches and the leaderboards are shown.
We then get the entrances of the first match of the night, which is an AEW Continental Classic Blue League Match and the tournament rules graphic is shown.
The match starts off with both men locking up. Fletcher then cinches in a side head lock on Benjamin, but Benjamin escapes and Fletcher delivers some right hands on him in the corner. Fletcher then retreats out of the ring, but Benjamin invites him back inside and Fletcher does so. Fletcher and Benjamin then lock up again, but Fletcher delivers some right hands on Benjamin and both men are sent crashing out of the ring. Benjamin and Fletcher then exchange right hands with each other. Benjamin then clotheslines Fletcher out of the ring, then sends him crashing into the barricade and the ring apron. Both men then get back inside the ring and Benjamin nails Fletcher with a kick. Benjamin then cinches in a crossface-Camel Clutch style submission on Fletcher, but Fletcher grabs the bottom rope to break the hold. Benjamin then hits three German suplexes on Fletcher, then follows it up with a step-up knee. Fletcher then hits a shoulder on Benjamin’s midsection through the ropes, then pins him while grabbing onto the ropes for the win.

After the match, the updated leaderboard is shown and Kyle Fletcher is leading with six points.
We then get highlights from the Continental Classic matches on last Saturday’s Collision.
HOOK then makes his way down to the ring to address the AEW fans.
HOOK starts off by saying he heard what Nick Wayne said about him on AEW Collision, then challenges him to come and fight him now. Christian Cage’s music then hits and he appears alongside Mother Wayne. Kip Sabian and Nick Wayne then attack HOOK from behind, but HOOK fights them both off and locks in Redrum on Nick Wayne. Cage then nails HOOK with his briefcase and Sabian and Nick then join in on the beat-down. All three men then beat HOOK down as Cage orders Sabian and Nick to each get a chair. They do as they are told and Nick Wayne hits a Con-Chair-To on HOOK’s hand. The Patriarchy then leaves the ring.
We then head to the back, where Renee Paquette catches up with AEW TBS and NJPW Strong Women’s Champion “The CEO” Mercedes Moné. Moné tells Indianapolis to say hello to their CEO. Paquette then asks Moné about Kamille being found knocked out backstage on Rampage. Moné then tells Paquette not to say Kamille’s name. Moné then switches her focus to Anna Jay and says she will be watching her match with Penelope Ford very closely.
We then see MVP telling Shelton Benjamin that he loves him, but he is disappointed in him. MVP then says that’s not how they do things. MVP and Lashley then walks away. A crew member then walks behind Benjamin and Benjamin turns around and beats him up. MVP and Lashley then returns to beat up the security guards, who tries to intervene. MVP then tells Benjamin that’s what we do.
Adam Cole then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night, which is the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royale and the other Battle Royale entrants are already in the ring.
The match starts off with all Battle Royale participants brawling with each other. Evil Uno then brawls with Adam Cole and sends him crashing into the mat with a hair whip and mocks him. Mark Davis then gets Uno up on his shoulders and sends him onto the apron over the top rope, then hits him with an enzuigiri to send him crashing onto the floor to eliminate him. Lance Archer then looks to eliminate Darius Martin as Davis looks to do the same to Dante Martin. The Martin brothers then slide inside the ring as Cole delivers some right hands on The Butcher in the corner. Action Andretti and Lio Rush then eliminate Dante and Darius Martin. Brian Cage and Archer then double team on Davis and deliver some right hands on him. They then clothesline him over the top to send him to the back. Rocky Romero then sends Andretti crashing onto the apron and over the top. Andretti then pulls Romero out to join him and both men start to brawl, but Kyle O’Reilly sends him crashing into the floor with a boot to eliminate him and sends Rush over the top rope to send him to the back. O’Reilly then nails Cage with a spinning forearm, but Archer nails him. Cage and Archer then hit a powerbomb-chokeslam combination on Romero to send him over the top rope and crashing onto everyone else on the floor. The Butcher is then sent crashing over the top rope and onto the apron, then hits an enzuigiri. Cole then sends Cage over the top rope onto the apron, then nails him with a superkick and follows it up with a kick to eliminate him as O’Reilly eliminates Archer on the other side with a kick.
The winners of the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royale, The Undisputed Kingdom’s Adam Cole and The Conglomeration’s Kyle O’Reilly!
After the match, Excalibur explains that Cole and O’Reilly will meet on next week’s show for the right to challenge MJF for the Dynamite Diamond Ring. O’Reilly then bumps shoulders with Cole before exiting the ring.
We then get a video package on the House of Black’s Julia Hart and the video focuses on Jamie Hayter’s photos and a bloody mask. Hart then says The House always wins at the end of the video.
We then head to the back, where Max Caster is telling Anthony Bowens and Billy Gunn to let him do the talking. Renee Paquette then asks if everything is good. Caster then says everything is great. Gunn then says that isn’t true. Gunn then says they have been trying to talk Caster out of facing Swerve Strickland. Gunn then says Caster is going about this all wrong. Caster then says no. Bowens then says Caster calls himself the best wrestler alive and he should go prove it. Caster then thanks him for the support and then tries to lead a cheer that Bowens and Gunn ignores.
We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Singles Match.
The match starts off with Swerve Strickland hitting a boot on Max Caster that sends him crashing onto the floor. Strickland then sends Caster crashing into several of the barricades and sends him inside the ring. Caster then hits a boot on Strickland’s midsection. Strickland then hits a German suplex on Caster, then clotheslines him back out of the ring and hits a boot on him off the apron. Strickland then gets Caster back inside the ring and hits him with three House Calls for the win.

After the match, Strickland hits a Swerve Stomp on Caster and tells Bobby Lashley that things aren’t over between them. Strickland then leaves the ring with Prince Nana.
Excalibur then hypes the upcoming matches. Excalibur then recaps the photo finish in the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royale. Excalibur then says it is clear that Adam Cole wanted no part of Kyle O’Reilly.
MJF is then shown seating at a bar. MJF laughs and says this is classic. MJF then says he and Adam Cole are white hot and everyone in the company is happy. MJF then talks about the record breaking business while he was champion. MJF then says Cole turned on him and it created a butterfly effect that left Roderick Strong with a broken arm and now Cole has to face O’Reilly. MJF then blames Cole for Jon Moxley taking the World Championship and ruling over AEW with an iron fist. MJF then says he’s sick of Cole walking around and pretending he’s the hero when he’s the villain. MJF then says Cole is a jaundice infected villain. MJF then says Cole can’t beat O’Reilly and it will be proven next week on Dynamite. MJF then says Cole can thank him for that. MJF then kisses his Dynamite Diamond Ring.
Excalibur then hypes Adam Cole vs. Kyle O’Reilly for next week and says the winner will face MJF at the Worlds End PPV.
We then get a video package on “Switchblade” Jay White and “The Bastard” PAC and both men make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night.
The match starts off with Jay White delivering some chops on PAC and sending him crashing into the top turnbuckle face first. White then hits a shoulder on PAC’s midsection and sets up for the Blade Runner. PAC then escapes and retreats to the outside for a breather, but White sends him back inside. White then clotheslines PAC back out of the ring and sends him crashing into the ring apron midsection first. White then gets PAC back in and goes for a pin, but PAC kicks out. White then nails PAC with a forearm from the apron, but Yuta pulls him off and clotheslines him as the referee is distracted by PAC. White and PAC then exchange right hands with each other. White then hits a right hand on PAC, then follows it up with an Exploder into the corner and a DDT. White then goes for a pin, but PAC kicks out. PAC then hits a snap German suplex on White, but White sends him crashing into the mat and charges at PAC. PAC then hits White with a boot and climbs to the top, then looks to fly. White then escapes and sets up for the Blade Runner, but PAC escapes. PAC then delivers some kicks on White, but White sends PAC crashing into the mat. PAC then cinches in a submission on White, but White makes it over to the bottom rope to break the hold. Yuta then pulls White out of the ring and hits him with the Busaiku Knee on the outside, then sends him back inside the ring. PAC then looks to take advantage, but White counters into the Blade Runner for the win.
The winner of the Singles Match, Bang Bang Gang’s “Switchblade” Jay White!
After the match, White hits a Blade Runner on Yuta. Marina Shafir then appears and AEW World Champion Jon Moxley blindsides White from behind as White is distracted by Shafir. Moxley then hits the Death Rider on White. “Hangman” Adam Page’s music then hits and he appears on the entrance ramp. Moxley becomes distracted by Page and a disguised Orange Cassidy chokes him with a cable. Cassidy then hits a couple of Orange Punches on Yuta and PAC and White hits a Blade Runner on Moxley. Page then follows it up with a Buckshot Lariat on Moxley. We then see Christian Cage watching what just happened from the entrance ramp with a contract in hand. Christian Cage then heads to the back as Moxley is surrounded by The Death Riders.
We then get a video hyping up AEW Worlds End.
Jamie Hayter then cuts a backstage promo and says Julia Hart’s mind games won’t work on her. Hayter then says she’s more of a face-to-face type of gal. Hayter then asks if this is about her triumphant return at Wembley Stadium. Hayter then says she came back to right a wrong and settle a score that has nothing to do with Hart. Hayter then says the International Women’s Cup means a lot to her and she’s determined to take it all the way. Hayter then says she’s ready to fight any time, any place, but you can’t fight what you can’t see. Hayter then says when Hart comes back, she’ll be laid out on the mat and she will be the last thing that Hart sees.
We then see Chris Jericho standing next to a TV screen that has a Breaking News graphic on it. Jericho then hypes ROH Final Battle and the other Hammerstein Ballroom shows as well as AEW All In: Texas. Jericho then says he will have a special TV Time segment on tomorrow’s ROH television and will have more details about who he will face at Final Battle. Jericho then says he is Chris Jericho and this has been a New York Minute.
We then get an old west style video with a sheriff and another man talking about a wanted man. The sheriff then posts a “wanted” sign for Bandido.
We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Singles Match.
The match starts off with Anna Jay offering her hand to Penelope Ford. Ford kicks it away from Jay and shoves her. Jay then returns the favor and both women exchange forearms with one another. Jay then nails Ford and looks to hit a roundhouse kick on her in the corner. Ford then moves out of the way and hits a drop toe hold on Jay that sends her crashing into the middle turnbuckle, then sends her crashing into the ring steps face first. Ford then climbs to the top rope. Jay then trips her and hits Ford with a kick on her head and pulls her off. Jay then follows it up with a somersault cutter and goes for a pin, but Ford kicks out. Ford then hits a boot on Jay, but Jay nails her with a Thrust Kick and looks to lock in the Queen Slayer on her. Ford then escapes and sends Jay crashing into the mat. Ford then looks to fly off the top rope, but Jay moves out of the way and sets up for the Gory Bomb. Ford then escapes and hits a drop toe hold on Jay that sends her crashing into the ropes, then follows it up a dropkick on her spine. Jay then hits Ford with a Gory Bomb for the win.

After the match, Jay grabs a mic and calls out Mercedes Moné. Moné’s music then hits and she makes her way down to the ring. Moné tells Jay that if Kris Statlander can’t dethrone her as TBS Champion, then she has no reason to believe that she can. Moné then says she likes Jay’s confidence and she can get a shot at her TBS Championship in 10 years when she’s done something in the wrestling business. Jay then takes a shot at Moné, but Moné looks at her watch and slides out of the ring as she says she doesn’t have time for this and they’ll be doing things on her time.
Excalibur then announces Mercedes Moné vs. Anna Jay for the TBS Title and Will Ospreay vs. Darby Allin in a Continental Classic Match in two weeks on the Holiday Bash themed edition of Dynamite. Excalibur also hypes tonight’s main event coming up next.
We then get an ad aired for AEW All In: Texas and all the ticket information.
Renee Paquette then conducts a sit-down interview with AEW Women’s World Champion “The Glamour” Mariah May. Paquette brings up May’s issues with a woman she claims she still loves. May then asks Paquette is she has friends or if she just sits and pokes holes in everyone else. Paquette contemplates leaving, but May tells her to sit and listen. May then talks about giving her friend a title shot. May then says shaking your tits will only get you so far and it’s time to go to work. Mina Shirakawa can be seen stomping through the hallway behind Paquette, but neither she nor May noticed. May then says the women’s division is shit and implied that it’s because she’s such a dominant champion. Shirakawa then shows up with a champagne bottle, which sends Paquette scurrying out. Shirakawa then simply hands the bottle to May. Shirakawa then tells May to say it to her face and says Winter is Coming. Shirakawa then says make me work.
We then get the entrances of the main event of the night, which is an AEW Continental Classic Gold League Match.
The match starts off with both men locking up. King and Castagnoli then trade strikes with each other and look to nail one another with clotheslines, but both stay standing on their feet. King then nails Castagnoli with a chop, then delivers a few more on his chest. King then follows it up with a bodyslam and a senton, but Castagnoli hits European uppercuts on him in the corner. Castagnoli then hits a kick on King’s spine, then sends his arm bouncing off the ring post and the apron. King and Castagnoli then deliver some strikes on one another. King then hits a Death Valley Driver on Castagnoli and goes for a pin, but Castagnoli kicks out and nails King with a pop-up uppercut. King then hits a back elbow on Castagnoli, but Castagnoli sends King crashing into the mat and hits the Hammer and Anvil elbows on him. Castagnoli and King then exchange strikes with one another and King hits a splash on Castagnoli in the corner and follows it up with a cannonball. King then goes for a pin, but Castagnoli kicks out. Castagnoli then looks to fly off the ropes, but King nails him with a strike mid-air and follows it up with a superplex. King then hits a piledriver on Castagnoli and goes for a pin, but Castagnoli kicks out. King then delivers some chops on Castagnoli, then places him on a chair on the outside. King then charges at him, but Castagnoli moves out of the way and King is sent crashing into the barricade. Both men then get back inside the ring and King nails Castagnoli. Castagnoli then low blows King as he distracts the referee, then follows it up with the Neutralizer for the win.

After the match, the updated leaderboard is shown with Castagnoli in the lead with six points. Tony Schiavone then says Tony Khan informed him that next week’s show will feature Claudio Castagnoli vs. Will Ospreay in a Gold League Match and Jon Moxley and PAC will face Jay White and Orange Cassidy on the Winter Is Coming themed edition of Dynamite and the show comes to a close.
