Oba Femi’s Status for 12/3 WWE NXT During Television Hiatus Unveiled

Tony D’Angelo defeated Oba Femi at Halloween Havoc 2024 to retain the NXT North American Championship, marking the last time fans saw Femi in action. With speculation about his potential return during this week’s NXT, Femi’s status for tonight’s show has been revealed.

According to Fightful Select, fans hoping for a last-minute addition of Oba Femi to the Iron Survivor match may be disappointed. Femi is not listed for tonight’s show, and there have been no reports of him being backstage whatsoever.

This week’s NXT will include two last-chance Fatal Four-Way matches for the Iron Survivor Challenge, one for the men and one for the women. For the men’s match, Eddy Thorpe, Lexis King, Axiom, and Cedric Alexander will compete to determine the winner. However, as confirmed above, Oba Femi will not be participating in the match.

Oba Femi’s long absence from NXT is surprising, especially after making such a big impact when he won the NXT North American Championship a few months ago. Fans are wondering why he hasn’t been seen since Halloween Havoc, and it appears they may have to wait longer for an answer.
