Name Change for Stable on WWE RAW Revealed

It looks like the Alpha Academy may have undergone a rebrand, as new merchandise revealed after the December 2, 2024 episode of WWE RAW seemingly confirms their new identity as “The Alpha Babes.” During a backstage interview, Otis, Akira Tozawa, and Maxxine Dupri proudly showed off their latest gear featuring the new moniker.

The nickname “The Alpha Babes” isn’t entirely new, having been used casually in the past, but the debut of official merch strongly suggests WWE is moving forward with the name change. Since parting ways with their former leader Chad Gable, the trio has continued under the Alpha Academy banner. However, this shift appears to mark a fresh start for the group as they expand their characters and solidify their identity.

WWE has yet to make an official announcement regarding the name change, but the introduction of the merchandise is a strong indicator that “The Alpha Babes” is now the stable’s new direction.
