The December 3 episode of WWE NXT continued to set the stage for Deadline, and that included a big in-ring return. Gigi Dolin made her long-awaited comeback to NXT last week, and this week she finally got back into the ring.

Prior to Gigi Dolin’s match, Shawn Spears tried to recruit her to his stable backstage, but she no-sold him. Instead, she and Tatum Paxley walked away, with Paxley calling him “creepy.” Tatum also admitted how bad that was to say, especially because it was coming from her.

Izzy Dane was Gigi Dolin’s opponent for her big television return match. Tatum Paxley followed Gigi to ringside to root her on for this match. They showed Fatal Influence was watching backstage on a screen. Shawn Spears also watched much closer from ringside.

In the end, Gigi Dolin won her television return match in clean fashion with a Gigi Driver. This was certainly a good start for her, but she has a long way to go to get back into the thick of things for the NXT women’s division.

Few fans expected Gigi Dolin’s return during the November 26 episode of NXT, but that’s exactly what happened. Tatum Paxley faced Fallon Henley in the main event of the episode, where Henley secured a clean victory despite close moments from Paxley. After the match, Gigi Dolin made her return, interrupting a post-match beatdown.

Dolin actually made her return during an NXT house show, but this week’s episode saw her wrestle on television for the first time since Dolin lost to Ariana Grace during the March 12 episode of NXT.
