Eddy Thorpe Wins Men’s Last Chance Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifying Match During 12/3 WWE NXT

WWE NXT is one week away from its next Premium Live Event, Deadline. One of the marquee bouts featured on the show will be the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge. With four spots filled, the December 3rd edition of WWE NXT featured a last-chance match between four competitors who lost in their respective qualifying matches for the last slot.

The high-stakes fatal 4-way showdown was contested between Eddy Thorpe, Lexis King, Cedric Alexander and Axiom, accompanied by his tag team partner, Nathan Frazer, who had already qualified for the match. Not only that, but other competitors of the Iron Survivor Challenge also made their presence felt, as Ethan Page was on commentary, Je’Von Evans sat amongst the NXT audience, and Wes Lee stood atop the balcony level.

As the bell rang, each of those NXT stars went up against each other, looking to finish the match early with near falls. Each superstar was laser-focused on the task in hand, as a chance to earn a future NXT Championship match hung in the balance.

The match saw four different styles of in-ring action collide in the squared circle. The competitors brought their top game, delivered exceptional in-ring moves and left no stone unturned in the match to qualify for the Iron Survivor Challenge. Moreover, the fans inside the Capitol Wrestling Center were on the edge of their seats, captivated by the spectacular action from the four rising stars of the Black & Grey brand.

Following a hard-fought match, the final moments saw all competitors executing their signature moves. As Axiom took down Lexis King with his finisher, Eddy Thorpe seized the moment, pulling him out of the ring and covering The King to score the pinfall.

With this win, Thorpe will join Je’Von Evans, Wes Lee, Nathan Frazer and Ethan Page in the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline to determine the next No.1 contender to the NXT Championship.
