The December 3 episode of WWE NXT was a big episode as they put the final pieces in place before Deadline this Saturday. Then, the final segment of the show was very interesting as well, but even after the last segment there was still action during the show.

After Eddy Thorpe qualified for the Iron Survivor Challenge match this week, they had one more segment to go. NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez took to the ring, and she had a vague intention. In the end, this wouldn’t be Thorpe’s final appearance on the show this week.

Roxanne Perez doesn’t have a title match at Deadline. Instead, she was very happy about the fact that she got to watch the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge match instead. She even released a beach promo in recent memory to rub that fact in the division’s faces.

Perez brought up how Deadline could be life-changing, because one lucky competitor will get a “gift wrapped title shot” when they are used to waking up on Christmas with no gifts. Perez also brought up how she won the first-ever Iron Survivor Challenge match, so she knows exactly what it means. She also said it is sad that they’re all just fighting to be second place, because nobody is beating her.

Roxanne Perez ran through the competitors in the Iron Survivor Challenge match, as she dragged them one by one. As she brought up how nobody is going to beat her, Sol Ruca came out to make her presence known, and she was followed by ZARIA. Then, Stephanie Vaquer followed them as they all got in the ring and stood up to the much-shorter Prodigy. Wren Sinclair came out as well as they all brawled all over the ring.

Suddenly, they cut to the locker room where Eddy Thorpe was shown on the ground. He was taken out, but we have no idea who did the damage. That is how this week’s episode ended, with a huge cliffhanger before Deadline.
