It’s Monday night, and you know what that means! The post-WWE Survivor Series: WarGames episode of RAW will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the December 2, 2024 episode.

WWE RAW Results (12/2/2024):

The show opens up with Joe Tessitore welcoming us, while we see shots of the host city and the fans outside the Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett, Washington. We then get a video package recapping this past Saturday’s Survivor Series: WarGames PLE.

We then get separate shots of Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods walking in the backstage area, while Tessitore hypes the New Day’s 10th year anniversary celebration.

We then get s shot of CM Punk arriving at the arena and being greeted by Jey Uso and Sami Zayn. Punk and Jey then hugs and Punk shakes hands with Zayn. CM Punk then makes his way down to the ring to address the WWE Universe as he is being introduced by ring announcer Lilian Garcia.

CM Punk starts off by saying is it good to be alive on a Monday night in Everett, then says he had a lot of things to consider after his Hell In A Cell matchup against Drew McIntyre. Punk then says he’s a lot less beat up today after the Men’s WarGames Match. Punk then says he put his personal feelings aside to help out Paul Heyman, then points up to the sky and asks fans if they see what he sees and that is main eventing WrestleMania 41. Punk then says there are many roads to take to get to where he wants and to where he wants to go whether it’s the Royal Rumble, the Elimination Chamber or calling in a favor that he has. Punk then invites the fans to come on the journey with him, but he is interrupted by Seth Rollins’ entrance music. Seth “Freakin” Rollins then makes his way down to the ring. Rollins starts off by saying he has been thinking a lot and he really should have taken Punk out the day he returned to WWE. Rollins then says he’s regretted not doing so everyday for the past year and since then, a lot has gotten in the way whether it’s Punk getting hurt, him defending titles or him focusing on The Bloodline. Rollins then says the last time he saw Punk, he was close to taking his shot at him but he took pity on Punk given that he was coming off his Hell In A Cell Match against McIntyre.

Rollins then says after seeing Punk stand tall next to Reigns at Survivor Series: WarGames, it became clear that it was time for him to fix his mistakes. Rollins then takes off his jacket and says there’s nothing in his or Punk’s way except for air and hatred. Rollins then says he has a feeling that tonight is the night he takes out Punk. Punk then says Rollins talks too much and doesn’t listen enough. Punk then says he just said that he put his personal feelings aside and is tired of running races against people he doesn’t know that he’s racing. Punk then says Rollins was World Heavyweight Champion six months ago and while he knows what’s in his future, Rollins doesn’t. Punk then warns Rollins about getting involved in his business. Rollins then tells Punk that he says he talks too much and doesn’t listen enough. Punk and Rollins then begin brawling, but Jey Uso and Sami Zayn make their way down to the ring to break things up. Other officials and Adam Pearce then appear to provide Jey and Zayn with backup and Rollins tells Jey and Punk to run to Roman. Zayn then cuts off Rollins and tells him that he doesn’t get to talk to Jey that way. Rollins then apologizes and says Jey is Reigns’ family, then asks Zayn what his excuse is given that he isn’t part of their family. Rollins then says he and Zayn came up in the wrestling business together, but he stabbed him in the back when he teamed with Punk. Zayn then says he never asked or wanted to team with Punk and says Rollins couldn’t do what he did teaming with Punk because he’s too stubborn. The two then continue to argue and Zayn tells Rollins that he created the monster Reigns is when he hit him in the back with a chair 10 years ago. Rollins then says he’s not pretending to be innocent, but if Zayn wants to point fingers, he needs to look in the mirror and realize that he did the same thing at Royal Rumble 2023. Rollins then says he understands what Zayn did what he did, but both Reigns and Punk haven’t changed. Rollins then says Zayn’s issue is that he’s gullible and is being really stupid. Zayn then challenges Rollins to a match and Rollins accepts. Rollins then exits the ring and heads to the back.

We then get video footage of Jackie Redmond catching up with Finn Bálor in the arena after Survivor Series: WarGames ended. Bálor recalls telling Damian Priest that he will be waiting because he doesn’t forget. Priest then attacks Bálor, but JD McDonagh and Carlito attacks Priest. McDonagh then holds Priest’s arm and then Bálor slams a chair over it. Adam Pearce then showed up and yells at the Judgment Day to leave. The Judgment Day then has a conversation backstage. Liv Morgan recalls that they all agreed that Bálor was going to stay away from Priest. Bálor then says they did, but Dominik couldn’t get the job done like he was supposed to, so he decided to take care of it by himself. Bálor then says if Morgan had listened to him, she may not have lost at WarGames. Bálor then says Morgan has to defend the Women’s World Championship against IYO SKY on Saturday Night’s Main Event and has a lot to focus on. Morgan then says she and Raquel Rodriguez will focus on Damage CTRL, then adds that she hopes Bálor knows what he’s doing. Bálor then says he knows what he’s doing. Bálor then shows off his tag team title belt and says Judgment Day wins when everyone listens to him. Bálor then walks off. Morgan then tells Dominik Mysterio to keep an eye on Bálor because she and Rodriguez has a match.

Damage CTRL then make their way down to the ring for the first match of the night and Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez follows.

Tag Team Match: The Judgment Day (WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez) vs. Damage CTRL (IYO SKY and Kairi Sane)

The match starts off with Kairi Sane and Raquel Rodriguez. Rodriguez nails Sane. Morgan then tags in and Rodriguez hits Sane with a bodyslam, then powerbombs Morgan on top of Sane and goes for a pin. SKY then breaks the fall, then tags in and hits a running back elbow on Morgan in the corner. Morgan then sends SKY crashing into the bottom rope face first and SKY hits a jawbreaker on Rodriguez and follows it up with a German suplex on Morgan. SKY then hits a meteora on Morgan in the corner and sets up for the Over The Moonsault, but Morgan trips SKY and tags in Rodriguez. Rodriguez then looks to hit the Texana Bomb on SKY, but SKY escapes and tags in Sane. SKY then hits a missile dropkick on Rodriguez off the top and Sane follows it up with the In-Sane Elbow. SKY then goes for a pin, but Morgan breaks the fall. SKY then sends Morgan out of the ring and flies to land on her as Sane hits a spinning backfist on Rodriguez inside the ring. Rodriguez then nails Sane with a big boot and follows it up with the Texana Bomb for the win.

After the match, Morgan and Rodriguez continue beating down SKY. Rhea Ripley’s music then hits and she makes her way down to even the odds. Morgan then slides out of the ring and Ripley looks to hit the Rip Tide on Rodriguez. Rodriguez then escapes, but Ripley clotheslines her out of the ring. Morgan then jumps on Ripley’s spine, but Ripley sends her crashing into the ring post spine first. Rodriguez then sends Ripley crashing into the side of the announce desk face first targeting her previously broken orbital bone and officials make their way down to ringside to hold Ripley back.

We then head to the back, where WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER was about to be interviewed by Cathy Kelley but Finn Bálor interrupts him. Bálor, who is accompanied by Dominik Mysterio, says GUNTHER owes him a title match after he helped The Ring General beat Priest twice. GUNTHER then says he doesn’t owe Bálor anything and never asked for his help. GUNTHER then says he needed to beat Priest by himself and for himself, which Bálor took away from him. Dominik then holds up two fingers. GUNTHER then swats Dominik’s hand and asks why he is so confident. GUNTHER then assumes it is because Dominik scored a victory over Priest unlike Bálor. GUNTHER then says he is going to have a chat with Adam Pearce.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament First Round Triple Threat Match.

WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament First Round Triple Threat Match: Damage CTRL’s Dakota Kai vs. Katana Chance vs. Pure Fusion Collective’s Shayna Baszler

The match starts off with both Dakota Kai and Katana Chance going after Shayna Baszler. Baszler then fights them both off, but Kai hits a kick on her on the apron that sends Baszler crashing to the outside and looks to fly. Baszler then nails Kai with a right hand, but Kai nails Baszler. Baszler then looks to hit a superplex on Kai. Chance then looks to pull Baszler down, but Baszler fights her off and Kai sends Baszler crashing off the ropes. Kai then nails her with a dropkick, but Chance hits a hurricanrana on Kai off the ropes on top of Baszler. Chance then goes for a pin on Baszler and Kai, but they both kick out. Chance then rolls Baszler up, but Kai hits a DDT on her to break the fall. Baszler then nails Kai with a knee and goes for a pin, but Kai kicks out. Kai then gets Baszler on her shoulders and looks to hit the Go To Kick on her, but Baszler locks in the Kirifuda Clutch on her. Kai then escapes and Chance hits a 450 Splash on Baszler, but Kai gets Chance on her shoulders and hits the Go To Kick on her for the win.

We then get a New Day video package. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are then shown walking separately in the backstage area, while Tessitore hypes The New Day’s 10 year anniversary celebration coming up next.

We then get a video package hyping the debut of the January 6th episode of WWE RAW on Netflix.

Wade Barrett then announces Seth Rollins vs. Sami Zayn as the main event of tonight’s episode.

RAW General Manager Adam Pearce is standing in the ring for the New Day 10 year anniversary celebration and we see balloons, photos, championship belts, Booty O’s, and other New Day related objects in the ring. Pearce then introduces Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods and they make their way down to the ring together. Pearce then gets the crowd to chant “New Day Rocks” and then leaves the ring.

Xavier Woods starts off by saying they wanted to come down to the ring and him being both part of WWE and successful in the company is so much more than he and Kingston could have ever imagined. Woods then thanks each and every one of the fans. Kofi Kingston then says it’s been quite a ride and he never imagined everything New Day has achieved. Kingston then says none of it would be possible without the fans and Woods says they wanted to come down to the ring to share some news with fans. Kingston then adds that he and Woods have been talking. Before he can continue, Big E’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Big E thanks the fans for their cheers and says he wishes he was here under different circumstances. Big E then says hearing Woods and Kingston argue and bicker has troubled his soul deeply. Big E then says when they started New Day ten years ago, all they had was each other. Big E then reminds Kingston that he was considering retirement at that time and after he experienced one of the scariest moments in his career when he injured his neck, Kingston and Woods were at his bedside in the hospital.

Big E then recalls some of the big moments they have been there for each other and says what they have built means a lot to a lot of people and himself. Big E then says until he is medically cleared to return to the ring, he will remind Woods and Kingston exactly who they are. Big E then says he’ll be there every week as the manager of Woods and Kingston. Woods then tells Big E he only wants to come back now after watching him and Kingston argue for months and Big E reminds Woods he broke his neck. Kingston then says that doesn’t matter and runs down a list of people who have recovered from neck injuries. Woods then says there were two members of his family waiting for him to return and Big E says he’s been doing his best to get back to the ring. Woods then says he tore his achilles tendon off the bone, but he was back in the ring nine months later to be back with him. Kingston then says Big E could have been at ringside cheering them on as he recovered, but instead, he chose a new desk job over them. Woods then says Big E has become a burden as they have to hear everyone tell them that they miss Big E, but him and Kingston have always missed Big E. Kingston then says their philosophy has always been New Day before anything else, but Big E broke that and chose himself over New Day. Woods then says Big E will never be medically cleared and since that’s the case, he can get out of the ring and back to his desk where he belongs. Woods then says he and Kingston will call him if they need him. Big E then tells Kingston and Woods that they can fix things and looks to hug them, but Kingston stops him. A heartbroken Big E then leaves the ring and heads to the back as Kingston and Woods agree that it’s just the two of them and they make up with a bro handshake while the fans started to boo.

We then get a video promo from The Final Testament’s Karrion Kross. Kross says he’s done some terrible things to people and he’s actually proud of it. Kross then says he has a tolerance when people do things back to him, but he took issue with that creature being sent to go after his wife. Kross then says he wants the Wyatt Sicks in the arena next week. Kross then says they started the fire and now he will make sure they burn in it.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Non-Title Match.

Non-Title Match: Imperium’s WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER vs. The Judgment Day’s “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio

The match starts off with Dominik dropkicking GUNTHER out of the ring. Dominik then hits GUNTHER with a tope suicida. GUNTHER then has a Boston Crab cinched in on Dominik. Dominik then escapes, then delivers some chops and strikes on GUNTHER. Dominik then low blows GUNTHER while the referee isn’t looking, then dials it up for a 619 on his chest. Dominik then dials it up for a second 619 on GUNTHER’s face and follows it up with a Frog Splash, then goes for a pin but GUNTHER kicks out. GUNTHER then nails Dominik with a boot before hitting him with a powerbomb for the win.

The winner of the Non-Title Match, Imperium’s WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER!

After the match, Finn Bálor blindsides GUNTHER from behind and hits him with three Coup De Graces. Bálor then grabs the World Heavyweight Championship and mockingly places it across GUNTHER’s chest. Bálor then smiles at Dominik and leaves the ring. As Bálor is making his way to the back, he says that’s how you do it and Dominik needs to watch and learn.

We then head to the back, where Cathy Kelley is interviewing Pete Dunne about his match against R-Truth. Kelley wonders if Truth thought he was facing Butch, but Dunne stops her from saying Butch. Dunne then looks into the camera and stresses that his name is Pete Dunne. We then hear a loud noise and there seems to be some commotion in the background. Adam Pearce and several officials then find Jey Uso lying on the ground holding his head and they check on him.

Pete Dunne then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night, while R-Truth is already waiting inside the ring.

Singles Match: R-Truth vs. “The Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne

The match starts off with Pete Dunne hitting R-Truth with an enzuigiri. Dunne then delivers some right hands on Truth, then follows it up with a stomp and steps on his arm. Dunne then becomes distracted by the fans calling him Butch and Truth rolls Dunne up for the win.

We then head to the back, where WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker is being interviewed by Cathy Kelley. Kelley says Sheamus cracked a rib during the Triple Threat Match at Survivor Series. Ludwig Kaiser then shows up and asks Breakker if he is happy with himself for stealing his pin. Kaiser then says it doesn’t matter because he accomplished what he needed to. Kaiser then says Sheamus broke his rib and he returned the favor. Kaiser then says there’s nothing stopping him from taking the Intercontinental Title and bringing it back to Imperium where it belongs. Breakker then asks if that is a challenge. Breakker then says he knew Kaiser will say he wasn’t beaten in the Triple Threat Match. Breakker then says Kaiser will never hold the title, but he gives him his props for the match at Survivor Series. Breakker then says Kaiser should look to get out of GUNTHER’s shadow quickly because GUNTHER’s stock is plummeting.

Commentary then lists the following matches for next week’s RAW: Raquel Rodriguez vs. Rhea Ripley, Lyra Valkyria vs. Zelina Vega vs. Ivy Nile in a Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament First Round Triple Threat Match and Karrion Kross, Akam, Rezar and The Miz vs. Uncle Howdy, Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy in an 8-Man Tag Team Match.

We then head to the back, where Sami Zayn asks Adam Pearce who attacked Jey Uso. Pearce says he doesn’t know and then asks Zayn who he thought is responsible. Zayn then says he is going to the ring to kick that person’s ass.

We then see RAW General Manager Adam Pearce on the phone with someone telling them to make something official. Finn Bálor then shows up and asks for a title match. Pearce says that’s rich given that it takes an act of Congress to get Bálor to defend his tag titles. Pearce then says GUNTHER wants the match just as badly as he does, so he will face GUNTHER for the title at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Pearce then tells Bálor they will talk about his other title match next week.

We then get the entrances of the main event of the night, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: Seth “Freakin” Rollins vs. Sami Zayn

The match starts off with both men locking up. Rollins then hits Zayn with a shoulder tackle, then sends him crashing out of the ring and looks to fly. Rollins then moves out of the way, but Zayn stops his momentum before he is sent crashing to the floor. Zayn then sends Rollins crashing into the top turnbuckle face first and looks to fly off the ropes. Rollins then nails Zayn with a boot on his midsection and sets up for a Pedigree, but Zayn escapes and hits a Blue Thunder Bomb on Rollins. Zayn then goes for a pin, but Rollins kicks out. Rollins then sets up for a Curb Stomp, but Zayn avoids it. The action then spills to the outside and Zayn hits a big boot on Rollins over the barricade from the timekeeper’s area. Zayn then sends Rollins crashing into the ring post, then grabs a chair and slides it inside the ring. Zayn then berates Rollins under the impression that he attacked Jey Uso earlier tonight, but Rollins says it wasn’t him and asks Zayn if he asked CM Punk yet. Zayn then disposes of the chair, but Rollins takes advantage and rolls Zayn up for the win.

The winner of the Singles Match, Seth “Freakin” Rollins!

After the match, Rollins tells Zayn that he needs to start using his head rather than following his heart all the time. Rollins then heads up the ramp and a hooded figure attacks Zayn from behind and hits him with a Claymore Kick. This hooded figure then reveals himself to be Drew McIntyre and McIntyre stands tall over Zayn as the show comes to a close.
