WWE brought the fallout after Survivor Series: WarGames to the Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett, Washington for the December 2 episode of WWE RAW. This was a big show, and they didn’t waste any time in getting things started for CM Punk’s next direction.
CM Punk helped the OG Bloodline win in a brutal WarGames match against Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline at Survivor Series. The Second City Savior was on hand to kick off this week’s episode of WWE RAW to speak his mind.
This week’s episode of RAW opened up with fans giving CM Punk a huge pop after he greeted Jey Uso and Sami Zayn backstage. Punk was out there a let fans know what he is going to focus on next.
CM Punk pointed at an imaginary WrestleMania sign, but the message was still very clear. He wants to get a main event match at the showcase of the immortals. There are a couple of roads to get him into that match, and he may just call in a favor to get there.
Suddenly, Seth Rollins made his way out. Fans sang his song as they greeted the Visionary back after a long hiatus from television. Rollins was last seen during the October 28 WWE RAW when he took a big bump off a production truck thanks to Bronson Reed. He was taken to the hospital after that and written off television.
Seth Rollins said that he should have knocked Punk out the day he returned to WWE, and he regrets not doing that over the past year. He referenced seeing Punk help out Roman Reigns at Survivor Series, and he realized it was time to rectify his mistakes. Then CM Punk told Rollins that he has things to do, so stay out of his business. This soon broke out into a brawl between the two of them.
After they were able to separate CM Punk and Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn came out next, and he had words with Rollins. The Visionary made it clear that he didn’t like how Zayn teamed with Roman Reigns at Survivor Series. Then, Zayn said that he wanted Rollins. That resulted in Rollins saying that Zayn was being very stupid about everything. In the end, Zayn said that if Rollins wants to get his frustration out of his system, then he has no problem getting in the ring with him tonight. That match was accepted by Seth Rollins.
Punk and Rollins were originally set to compete at WrestleMania 40. Only time will tell how things pan out for the two this time around.
We will have to see what CM Punk does next. With the Royal Rumble and Road to WrestleMania 41 kicking off in a few weeks, you never know what he will get into.
