Kofi Kingston is celebrating a major milestone with The New Day as the iconic trio marks 10 years together in WWE. Speaking to the New York Post ahead of tonight’s special anniversary edition of WWE Raw in Everett, Washington, Kingston shared his thoughts on the group’s longevity and their lasting impact on the wrestling world.

“When you think about all the tag teams that have come through WWE, a lot of them, we think they have lasted a lot longer than they actually have,” Kingston explained. “For us to go 10 years is really an incredible feat and something that we really take a lot of pride in, something that we strived for. This is always the goal to get to this point and beyond.”

Since their debut in 2014, Kingston, Xavier Woods, and Big E have redefined tag team wrestling in WWE with their infectious charisma and unique achievements. From hosting WrestleMania to creating their own cereal (Booty-O’s), the trio has consistently pushed boundaries. “We’ve been able to do so many incredible things,” Kingston said. “Hosting WrestleMania, going toe to toe with The Rock on the mic, bringing actual cereal to WWE — the first food product in over a decade. There’s just so many different things that we’ve been able to accomplish that we take a lot of pride in.”

Reflecting on the group’s success, Kingston marveled at how quickly the decade has flown by. “Ten years is a really, really long time, and you don’t even quite realize it until you sit down and you’re like, ‘Oh my God, 10 years. Wow.’”
