Kevin Owens has been making a significant impact on WWE television ever since his shocking betrayal of Cody Rhodes and their feud is expected to end this month. He was also absent from the Survivor Series Premium Live Event and has now addressed the same.
The Survivor Series Premium Live Event took place at the Roger Center in Vancouver, Canada, and it featured several top stars, but Kevin Owens was noticeably absent from the show and fans felt this was a misstep on WWE’s part.
A fan took to Twitter and suggested that Kevin Owens wasn’t booked for the Premium Live Event because he might have received a positive reaction in Canada and that wouldn’t look good for the causal viewers tuning in and believing that Kevin Owens was right all the along.
“I think the main reason why Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens was NOT on #SurvivorSeries is because the show was in Canada and WWE didn’t want KO getting an overwhelming positive response. That wouldn’t look good for the causal viewers tuning in and figuring Kevin must be right.”
Kevin Owens responded with a tweet directed at WWE officials, including Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and others, asking, “Is this why?” In a follow-up tweet, Owens confidently declared, “Doesn’t matter. The entire world knows I’m right,” making it clear that he stands by his statement.
Kevin Owens is set to face off against Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Long Island, NY this month, where their feud will likely conclude. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether The Prizefighter will be able to topple The American Nightmare and prove to the world that he was right in the end.
