Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has laid out his December 2024 schedule, and it’s clear he’s ending the year on a high note. From title defenses to special appearances, the American Nightmare is set to keep fans entertained as WWE closes out 2024.
The highlight of Rhodes’ month is his big title defense against Kevin Owens on the special NBC broadcast of Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14. Leading up to the showdown, Rhodes will appear on both the December 2 and 9 episodes of Raw and the December 6 and 13 episodes of SmackDown.
While some fans might think this means Rhodes is officially jumping brands to Raw, that’s not necessarily the case. Rhodes has a history of appearing in dark matches post-Raw, entertaining the live crowd without being featured on television. For example, his only November Raw appearance was in a street fight against Solo Sikoa on November 25, which never aired.
Looking ahead to January, Rhodes is heavily rumored to play a major role in the Raw Netflix launch episode on January 6, 2025. However, there’s a noticeable gap in his December schedule between December 14 and 26, as WWE traditionally pre-tapes holiday episodes or airs specials during that time.
The champion will close out December with the WWE Live Holiday Tour, hitting cities like Jacksonville, Orlando, Miami, and Detroit before wrapping up the year.
Cody Rhodes has proven to be WWE’s workhorse champion, juggling intense matches with cross-brand appearances. Fans will undoubtedly keep their eyes on his schedule as the Undisputed WWE Champion continues to dominate.
