WWE Star Faced Travel Delays Before Survivor Series 2024 Match

Ahead of tonight’s WWE Survivor Series: WarGames as Damian Priest faced unexpected travel issues on his way to Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC. The Countdown show panel had to scramble to adjust plans, with panelist Peter Rosenberg confirming that Priest’s travel delays derailed a scheduled interview segment.

“I was supposed to interview Damian Priest during the Countdown show,” Rosenberg revealed, “but unfortunately, travel issues kept him from making it in time.” Despite the chaos, Rosenberg reassured fans that Priest had arrived at the venue and was ready to compete in his high-stakes match.

Priest is set to challenge GUNTHER for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a rematch from their explosive encounter at SummerSlam. That match saw GUNTHER dethrone Priest to claim the title, and tonight’s bout promises to deliver another hard-hitting chapter in their rivalry.

The star-studded Survivor Series lineup also features LA Knight defending the United States Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura, and Bron Breakker putting his Intercontinental Title on the line in a triple threat against Ludwig Kaiser and Sheamus. Rounding out the action-packed night are two WarGames matches, continuing the tradition that has made the event a yearly highlight since 2022.
