Skye Blue saw a lot of growth in AEW over the years but things came to a screeching halt after she suffered an injury during the July 20 episode of AEW Collision. It has been a few months since then and she has now revealed her recovery progress during her in-ring hiatus.

While speaking to the Chicago Wolves, Skye Blue was asked about her injury and how her recovery is coming along. Blue noted that she is certainly making progress in her recovery but it’s hard staying home and watching others work, noting how tempting it is to feel ready to return despite not being fully healed.

Skye Blue made it very clear that she wants to make sure she is fully healed so she can wrestle her best and take part in hardcore matches again.

“We’re getting there—uh, July 20th, okay—but we’re getting there. It’s hard sitting at home and, like, watching him still go to work and being like, ‘I feel fine. I can walk, I can wrestle, right?’ And then I’m like, ‘Oh no, I can’t.’ But we’re getting there. I just want to come back fully healthy so I can go crazy, do all my hardcore matches, and be 100%.”

Fans are hopeful Skye Blue will return sooner rather than later so that she can go back to doing what she loves the most once again. Till then, fans will continue to wait with bated breath for her eventual in-ring return.
