WWE brought their 2024 edition of Survivor Series event to The Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia. The company’s WarGames match for the men brought a ton of attention, with CM Punk’s recent addition, and fans couldn’t wait to see this chapter of the Bloodline’s saga to unfold.
The new Bloodline won the advantage in this match, so the heels had the upper hand with the numbers game. Tama Tonga started things off for the new Bloodline, with Jey Uso entering the match first for the OG Bloodline. Jey also got his own Yeet filled entrance through the crowd last, after Roman Reigns.
Bronson Reed entered the match next to give the heels a huge advantage. Next, Jimmy Uso joined the fray from the OG Bloodline’s team. He was followed by Jacob Fatu, and then Sami Zayn entered the match. CM Punk wanted to go instead, but Roman stopped him to send the Honorary Uce out. Tanga Loa was the next to make his way to the ring, and then he got right to putting two tables in the ring.
CM Punk entered the match before Roman Reigns, which didn’t sit well with the OTC. Then Solo Sikoa entered the match, with Reigns coming in after everyone else to start the Match Beyond, but Solo Sikoa locked the gate, which prohibited Reigns from getting in the match, so Roman climbed the cage to get in.
This match told several stories at once, primarily CM Punk and Roman Reigns. At one point, Reigns accidentally speared Punk and then Solo Sikoa hit a Samoan Spike for a near fall. Then Roman nailed a spear on Solo after hitting a low blow on Jacob Fatu to avoid a table spot. Still, Reigns ended up on the table as Bronson Reed went to the top of the cage for a Tsunami, but Punk moved Reigns out of the way at the last second to save him.
After Jimmy Uso took out Jacob Fat with a big Uso Splash off the top of the cage through a table, Sami Zayn got everyone up and they surrounded Solo Sikoa. The leader of the new Bloodline took signature moves from all of the babyfaces, and it was capped off with a spear from Roman Reigns for the win.
The Men’s WarGames match closed out the show in Canada tonight. It came right after GUNTHER retained the WWE World Heavyweight Championship thanks to Finn Balor interfering to screw over Damian Priest.
Roman Reigns has been on a mission to reclaim the Ula Falla and title as the only Tribal Chief in WWE since his 2024 SummerSlam return, where he helped Cody Rhodes retain the Undisputed WWE Title against Solo Sikoa. The Bloodline was split in two as Reigns gathered his troops.
After The Usos and Sami Zayn banded together once again to stand behind Roman Reigns, and WarGames was set against Solo Sikoa’s incarnation of The Bloodline. Then, Paul Heyman made his surprise return to pull CM Punk into the fold. During the November 29 episode of SmackDown, Punk made it clear that he took the match to get a favor from Paul Heyman.
