Since going back to its roots through the Hard to Kill pay-per-view in January, TNA Wrestling has seen tons of growth over the past several months. The company’s next pay-per-view is Turning Point and there are a lot of excellent matches that fans can look forward to.
Masha Slamovich ended Jordynne Grace’s dominant title reign at Bound For Glory to become Knockouts World Champion. Grace will get her rematch in a 2 Out of 3 Falls Match at Turning Point. Fans are eager to see whether Grace will be able to reclaim her title at the pay-per-view.
Josh Alexander defeated Steve Maclin in a grudge match at Bound For Glory and followed it up with a six-man tag team victory on iMPACT!. Seeking revenge, Maclin demanded action, leading to a No Disqualifications Match at Turning Point. The bout is expected to be a hard-hitting affair, so we’ll have to see who will pick up the win.
Turning Point will feature a high-stakes six-man tag team match. TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hardys team up with Ace Austin to face The Rascalz and KUSHIDA. With The Hardys newly crowned after their victory at Bound For Glory, every team is determined to gain momentum in the upcoming match, as there will be a lot at stake.
Joe Hendry, Eric Young, Hammerstone, Rhino, Brian Myers, and John Skyler will battle to avoid the ultimate embarrassment: wearing the turkey suit as part of the Turkey Bowl match. Fans are interested in seeing who will be unlucky enough to wear the turkey suit this time around.
Moose recently won the X-Division Championship by defeating Mike Bailey. On iMPACT!, Moose and his ally JDC lost a tag team match to Laredo Kid and Leon Slater, with Laredo standing tall after fending off a post-match attack. Moose now faces Laredo Kid in his first title defense at Turning Point and fans are looking forward to an epic match.
At Bound For Glory, Nic Nemeth defended his TNA World Championship against Joe Hendry in a controversial match. Days later on iMPACT!, Nemeth teamed up with Hendry to face Eddie Edwards and JDC of The System. However, after a collision with Hendry, Nemeth was pinned by Edwards, earning Edwards a shot at the TNA World Title at Turning Point. Nemeth will definitely have a hard battle against the highly dangerous Eddie Edwards in what is expected to be a very physical bout.
Frankie Kazarian and Mike Santana will be facing off against each other in singles competition at Turning Point to determine who will be one step closer to challenging for the TNA World Title.
Xia Brookside, Savannah Evans and Rosemary will be squaring off in a triple threat match as part of the Countdown to Turning Point pre-show. Fans are excited for this match as all three competitors are highly talented.
