Michin is one step closer to making history as the first WWE Women’s United States Champion. On the November 29 episode of SmackDown, Michin triumphed over Lash Legend and Piper Niven in a triple threat match, securing her spot in the semifinals of the Women’s U.S. Title Tournament.
The finish saw Lash Legend deliver her signature Lash Extension to Piper Niven, only for Michin to break up the pinfall with a perfectly timed senton from the top rope. Capitalizing on the chaos, Michin pinned Piper for the decisive victory.
The match wasn’t without its outside drama, as Chelsea Green attempted to interfere. However, she was swiftly neutralized by B-Fab, adding another layer of intrigue to the contest.
With the win, Michin joins Chelsea Green and Bayley in the semifinals. Her next challenge will come against the winner of the upcoming triple threat match featuring Naomi, Tiffany Stratton, and Elektra Lopez. Lash Legend, who replaced Jade Cargill in the match after Cargill was attacked on the November 22 SmackDown, had a standout performance, but it wasn’t enough to secure her victory.
As the tournament heats up, fans are eager to see if Michin can go all the way and claim the coveted Women’s United States Title.
