Paul Heyman, the legendary WWE manager and Hall of Famer, has always had a knack for spotting talent. In a recent conversation with SHAK Wrestling, Heyman hinted at which current WWE stars might join the elite ranks of “Paul Heyman Guys” and reflected on his iconic partnerships with CM Punk and Brock Lesnar.

Heyman didn’t hold back on his admiration for WWE’s modern roster. “GUNTHER, Damian Priest, Bron Breakker, Liv Morgan, Rhea Ripley, and others are remarkable talents,” Heyman said. “This roster is the deepest and most talented in the history of the industry.” Fans are now speculating which superstar could be the next to benefit from Heyman’s Midas touch.

The “Paul Heyman Guy” label gained massive popularity during CM Punk’s legendary Pipebomb promo in 2011. Heyman revealed the challenges Punk faced early in his WWE career under that title, but praised his evolution. “CM Punk battled against the perception that all he was was a ‘Paul Heyman Guy.’ He proved himself through his connection with the audience, his hard work, and overcoming being misrepresented as a performer who needed ‘smoke and mirrors,’” Heyman explained. He added that Punk has since grown into a more dynamic character with a deeper connection to fans.

Of course, Brock Lesnar remains synonymous with Heyman’s legacy. Heyman reflected on his relationship with the Beast Incarnate, dating back to Lesnar’s explosive WWE debut in 2002. “Brock was unlike any human being you’ve ever seen. He was a once-in-a-lifetime commodity that needed to be marketed as the undisputed number one,” Heyman said, cementing Lesnar’s status as one of the most dominant forces in wrestling history.
