TNA Wrestling’s Turning Point took over the Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on November 29. This was a big night for the company, and that included Matt Riddle’s debut for the company.

In a six-man tag team match, TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hardys and ABC’s Ace Austin took on Zachary Wentz of The Rascalz and “Time Splitter” Kushida. There was a mystery partner promoted for this match, because Trey Miguel couldn’t make it, and it turned out to be Matt Riddle.

This was a big debut for Matt Riddle in TNA Wrestling. It also marked his first real pro wrestling television performance in a long time.

WWE released Matt Riddle from his contract in 2023. His firing came after a wave of budget cuts, but his release was separate from the rest. In the end, he was let go a few weeks after an alleged drunken incident at JFK Airport.
