TNA Wrestling’s Turning Point 2024 was held at the Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, on November 29. The event featured a match with high stakes for the loser, because they brought the Turkey Bowl back.

In the Turkey Bowl match, Joe Hendry, Eric Young, Hammerstone, Rhino, Brian Myers, and John Skyler will compete to avoid wearing the infamous turkey suit. The loser of this match, while humiliated, was going to be part of a tradition.

This match came around thirty minutes into the pay-per-view event. Each competitor started off with punishing offense, because nobody wanted to wear the turkey costume. Fans were pumped for this match, but Joe Hendry received a majority of the babyface reactions.

Brian Myers tried to get one over on Rhino, but just as he was about to charge the TNA Hall of Famer, Joe Hendry caught him. After Hendry laid down his finisher, he pinned Myers clean.

That loss meant Brian Myers was forced to wear the turkey suit this year. Of course, Myers didn’t want to wear the suit, but “TURKEY” chants came out of the live crowd, and he was eventually forced to put the suit on. Fans also chanted “Turkey Myers” while they were at it.

Although they haven’t held the Turkey Bowl match every year, TNA did start the tradition in 2007. Throughout the history of the match, A.J. Styles, Alex Shelley, Robbie T, Jessie Godderz, Dewey Barnes, Norv Fernum, Grado, Chris Adonis, Glenn Gilbertti, and Jai Vidal have worn the turkey costume.
