Jon Moxley successfully retained his AEW World Title against Orange Cassidy at Full Gear. AEW is already planning his next title defense for the World’s End pay-per-view in December, and now their current plans for Jon Moxley’s match have been revealed.

While speaking on The Bryan & Vinny Show, Bryan Alvarez talked about the World Title picture and AEW’s plans for Jon Moxley at the Worlds End pay-per-view. Alvarez revealed that he was told it was going to be a fatal four-way match between Jon Moxley, Jay White, Adam Page and Christian Cage for the AEW World Championship. He noted that this could change in the future, but that it’s the plan at the moment.

“I’ve since been told that, no, actually, it’s going to be a four-way. Now, granted, this could change, so how they’re going to get to a four-way logically, I have no earthly idea. But apparently, the idea is that it will be that four-way at World’s End.”

This stems from AEW’s strategy for the post-main event angles at the Full Gear pay-per-view, which saw Adam Page, Jay White and Christian Cage get involved with Jon Moxley, to show just how many contenders are gunning for Moxley’s title.

The November 27th edition of AEW Dynamite was full of chaos. Jay White mocked Adam Page for wanting a World Title shot, reminding him that he had lost to White multiple times. After that, The Death Riders attacked both Page and White, brutally taking down Jay White and leaving him motionless in the ring.

We’ll have to wait and see if AEW can create a logical storyline to set up the fatal four-way match between Jon Moxley, Jay White, Adam Page, and Christian Cage at World’s End on December 28. After all, fans just want a World Title match that feels well-planned and makes sense.
