Eddie Kingston has been sidelined since suffering an injury at NJPW Resurgence earlier this year. Since then, he has been focused on his recovery and is said to be pushing himself hard to make a strong comeback.

According to PWInsider, Eddie Kingston underwent surgery over the summer and has been furiously pushing himself in physical therapy to speed up his recovery and return to the ring. However, despite his efforts, doctors have informed him that he likely won’t be cleared to wrestle until June 2025.

The Mad King underwent knee surgery back in July and confirmed that he is now able to walk again and has started doing light exercises in the gym. Naturally, there is still a long time left until he can come back but Kingston is trying to ensure he is back sooner rather than later.

Eddie Kingston was in a bitter feud with The Elite, especially The Young Bucks and Kazuchika Okada before his injury and fans were disappointed that he was not able to continue the feud, as he was supposed to compete in the Anarchy in the Arena match at Double or Nothing.
