Matt and Jeff Hardy, the iconic Hardy Boyz, have officially committed to TNA Wrestling for another year. After clinching the TNA World Tag Team Championship at Bound For Glory in a jaw-dropping Full Metal Mayhem match, the brothers were reportedly not under contract—until now.
According to Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp, Matt and Jeff inked one-year deals with TNA on November 27. The contracts allow the legendary duo to continue their dominant run in TNA while also working indie dates, offering fans even more opportunities to witness their performances.
Matt Hardy returned to TNA in May 2024, initially signing for a limited number of dates. However, when Jeff’s AEW contract expired and he joined his brother, the pair decided to stick around. Despite their success and championship win, it wasn’t until this week that they finalized their contracts.
TNA’s approach to talent contracts has shifted under the current regime. Previously, the company insisted wrestlers be under exclusive contracts to compete. This new deal with the Hardys reflects a more flexible strategy, giving the brothers creative freedom while solidifying their place in TNA’s tag team division.
Fans are thrilled to see the Hardys stay with TNA, continuing to cement their legacy as one of wrestling’s most decorated and innovative tag teams. With their fearless energy and unmatched chemistry, the Hardy Boyz are proving that age is just a number in the world of professional wrestling.
