AEW star Adam Copeland has been a prime fixture for the highly popular TV Series Percy Jackson. Following his remarkable debut in Season One of the show, the Rated-R superstar shared a glimpse of his involvement in the upcoming season, titled Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
The former 11-time World Champion shared a video of a scene from Season Two of Percy Jackson, posted on their official Instagram. Adam Copeland reprises his role as Ares, the God of War, who has a daring and arrogant persona displaying his compelling acting skills to the fullest.
In the scene shared, Copeland’s character, Ares, can be seen talking about his family dynamics with Percy Jackson, played by actor Walker Scobell. The series first premiered on December 19, 2023, on Disney+ with the first season becoming a huge success and was renewed for the second season, set to be released in 2025.
Moreover, Adam Copeland is also expected to be back on the wrestling scene next year, apart from his captivating role in Percy Jackson. A recent report by PWInsider stated that Copeland has been cleared for physicality. However, he is expected to return to AEW for in-ring action after wrapping up his commitments of filming Percy Jackson.
The Ultimate Opportunist has been sidelined with a lower tibia fracture he suffered at AEW Double or Nothing event. This led to him being stripped of the TNT title by The Young Bucks, ending his title reign in 70 days. With Copeland possibly concluding his shooting for Percy Jackson in January 2025, we will have to wait and see when he is ready to make a thunderous comeback and pick up business right where he left off in Tony Khan’s promotion.
