The November 27 episode of AEW Dynamite brought another historic show to the Wintrust Arena. AEW fans flocked to the building, and while they had a lot of reasons to pay close attention to the show, a match that will affect Wrestle Dynasty took the spotlight during the second hour of the show.
In a Wrestle Dynasty International Women’s Cup Qualifier, Jamie Hayter vs. Queen Aminata too center stage. In the end, both women left it all in the ring. Both competitors wanted in on the action at Wrestle Dynasty. This is not a round-robin tournament like the Continental Classic, as it is a single-elimination tournament.
This match devolved into a slug fest early on, and then they went to commercial break. In the end, Hayter was able to close out the match with a clean win. This puts Jamie Hayter one step closer to another big win at Wrestle Dynasty. Fans in Chicago were very much behind this match.
After the match was over, a lone spotlight was seen at the entrance ramp after the lights cut out. Jamie Hayter called out Julia Hart, who has been taunting her like this. However, Hart didn’t show up.
Wrestle Dynasty will go down on January 5, 2025, at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan, on the night after NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 19. The event is being co-promoted by NJPW, STARDOM, ROH, CMLL and AEW. Fans will see another card full of dream matches for the upcoming event.
