It’s Wednesday night and you know what that means! The post-AEW Full Gear and Thanksgiving Eve episode of Dynamite will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the November 27, 2024 episode.

AEW Dynamite Results (11/27/2024):

The show opens up with a recap of this past Saturday night’s AEW Full Gear PPV set to Guns N’ Roses “November Rain.”

We then get a video package on the Continental Classic. Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness then welcomes us to the show as we see graphics of the Continental Classic.

The Hurt Syndicate (“The All Mighty” Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin and MVP) then make their way down to the ring for the first match of the night as they are being introduced by ring announcer Justin Roberts. MVP then plays to the Chicago crowd and compares Lashley and Benjamin to Walter Payton and Michael Jordan. An MVP chant then breaks out, but MVP says it’s not about him as it’s about the Hurt Syndicate. MVP then talks about how his business card is like a golden ticket. MVP then criticizes Swerve Strickland for being arrogant. A “Swerve’s House” chant then breaks out and MVP points out that Lashley beat the snot out of Swerve. MVP then sends us to a video footage from the match. MVP then says their mission statement is that they are in AEW to take championship titles and leverage them for more money and power. MVP then says they are the merchants of misery and they are in the profession of pain. MVP then says Benjamin will kick off the Continental Classic. MVP then says they hurt people to end his promo. MVP and Lashley then hugs Benjamin and leaves the ring while commentary reminds the fans that no one is allowed at ringside during Continental Classic matches.

Mark Briscoe then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night, while the tournament rules graphic is displayed.

AEW Continental Classic Blue League Match: The Conglomeration’s Mark Briscoe vs. The Hurt Syndicate’s Shelton Benjamin

The match starts off with Benjamin hitting Briscoe with a shoulder tackle. Benjamin then sends Briscoe crashing into the mat spine first, then delivers a couple of right hands on him and sends him crashing out of the ring. Benjamin then hits a kick through the ropes, then sends Briscoe crashing into the ring steps. Briscoe then sends Benjamin crashing into the ring post, then flies through the ropes to land on Benjamin on the outside and follows it up with a chop. Briscoe then sends Benjamin back in the ring and climbs to the top, but Benjamin meets him up there and hits a belly-to-belly suplex on Briscoe. Benjamin then drags Briscoe into the corner and delivers some right hands on him. Briscoe then makes his way up to his feet, then delivers some right hands of his own on Benjamin. Briscoe then hits Benjamin with a Death Valley Driver, then climbs to the top and nails Benjamin with a couple of elbow drops. Benjamin then responds with a German suplex, but Briscoe hits Benjamin with a kick on his head. Benjamin then hits a kick of his own on Briscoe. Benjamin then nails Briscoe with another kick, then hits him with a modified belly-to-belly suplex for the win.

After the match, Bobby Lashley and MVP returns to the ring to celebrate with Benjamin. The updated Continental Classic leaderboard is then shown.

We then get a video touting tickets for all of the Dynamite and Collision episodes that will feature Continental Classic matches, along with the Worlds End PPV.

Tony Schiavone stands on the stage and introduces AEW TBS and NJPW Strong Women’s Champion “The CEO” Mercedes Moné and she makes her way out alongside “The Brickhouse” Kamille. Moné demands that Chicago say hello to their CEO, then says it feels like money to have competed in the longest women’s match in AEW on Saturday against Kris Statlander after being asked by Schiavone. Moné then continues to gloat and looks to fire Kamille for not doing her job right, but Kamille grabs the mic from her and says Moné can’t fire her because she quits. Kamille then heads to the back, while Moné throws a tantrum and the fans chant, “You deserve it.”

We then get a video package recapping Big Boom A.J. defeating QT Marshall at Full Gear.

ROH World Champion “The Nueve” Chris Jericho, Bryan Keith, and Big Bill then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and The Conglomeration’s “The Stone Pitbull” Tomohiro Ishii follows.

ROH World Championship Match: “The Nueve” Chris Jericho vs. The Conglomeration’s “The Stone Pitbull” Tomohiro Ishii

The match starts off with both men exchanging chops with each other. Ishii then hits a German suplex on Jericho, but Jericho responds with one of his own and a boot. Ishii then turns Jericho inside out with a clothesline, but Jericho responds with a DDT on the ring apron. Jericho then sends Ishii back inside the ring and both men continue exchanging chops and open palm strikes. Jericho then hits a superplex on Ishii. Ishii then immediately makes his way back up to his feet, but Jericho delivers some forearms on Ishii. Ishii then responds with one of his own and both men exchange more open palm strikes with each other. Jericho then hits a German suplex on Ishii, but Ishii nails him. Jericho then hits Ishii with a Death Valley Driver and a Lionsault off the ropes, then follows it up with a Codebreaker. Jericho then looks to lock in the Liontamer on Ishii, but Ishii avoids it and pins Jericho. Jericho then kicks out, but Ishii hits him with a single legged Codebreaker. Jericho then responds with a Judas Effect on Ishii as he charges at him, then follows it up with a second one for the win.

We then head to the back, where Renee Paquette is having a conversation with Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana. Paquette asks Swerve how he will rebuild. Swerve says rebuilding is something he does very well. Swerve then says he figures things out whether he wins or loses. Swerve then says he has never been hit as hard as he was by Bobby Lashley. Max Caster then shows up and chuckles. Swerve then calls him out and asks what is so funny. Caster says Swerve is funny. Caster then says Swerve lost at the Prudential Center last week, which is the same building where Caster beat him for the AEW World Tag Team Titles. Swerve then pushes Caster against the wall. Swerve then tosses Caster onto some production crates and threw punches at him. Swerve then sends Caster into another production crate and kicks him. Nana then pleads with Swerve to leave.

Tony Schiavone is standing in the ring and he then introduces “Hangman” Adam Page and Page makes his way down to the ring to address the AEW fans. Tony Schiavone starts off by addressing Page’s loss to “Switchblade” Jay White and Christian Cage’s attempted cash in of his contract for an AEW World Championship Match at Full Gear. Page shows his anger towards Cage and Cage being unable to cash in due to a deal the two had, then says that the AEW World Championship is and always will be his. Jay White’s music then hits and he makes his way out. White brags about defeating Page twice and says he is willing to face him in the ring again, but PAC pulls him out of the ring and Wheeler Yuta blindsides Page. White then fights off PAC and Yuta, but Marina Shafir attacks him from behind. White then gains the upper hand against Shafir and looks to hit the Blade Runner on her, but Jon Moxley locks in a Sleeper on him. The Death Riders then delivers some stomps on White and leave the ringside area. Yuta then hits a kick on Page before leaving.

Claudio Castagnoli then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Ricochet follows.

AEW Continental Classic Gold League Match: Ricochet vs. The Death Riders’ AEW World Trios Champion Claudio Castagnoli

The match starts off with Castagnoli nailing Ricochet. Ricochet then looks to respond with a hurricanrana, but Castagnoli intercepts him. Ricochet then looks to fly off the apron on the outside, but Castagnoli intercepts him and sends him crashing into the barricade. Castagnoli then gets Ricochet on his shoulders and sends him back in the ring, but Ricochet nails him with a kick through the ropes and gets him back inside the ring. Castagnoli then goes for a pin, but Ricochet kicks out. Ricochet then nails Castagnoli and hits him with a tope suicida. Ricochet then follows it up with a hurricanrana and a clothesline off the top, then hits Castagnoli with a springboard moonsault and goes for a pin. Castagnoli then kicks out, but Ricochet hits him with a couple of kicks. Castagnoli then hits a double stomp on Ricochet and cinches in a Sharpshooter, then transitions into a crossface. Castagnoli then sends Ricochet crashing into the barricade midsection and groin first, then gets back inside the ring as the referee begins a ten count. Ricochet then beats it, but Castagnoli turns Ricochet inside out with a lariat for the win.

After the match, the updated leaderboard is shown. We then get highlights of Kyle Fletcher defeating Will Ospreay at Full Gear.

We then head to the back, where Renee Paquette is interviewing Kyle Fletcher and Don Callis about how they seem to be on a mission to destroy Will Ospreay. Callis says that’s what people do to get ahead. Callis then talks about how they decimated Ospreay. Callis then says they are just getting started. Fletcher then says he is better than Ospreay in every way. Fletcher then says the Continental Classic belongs to him.

The Undisputed Kingdom (Adam Cole, Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) then make their way down to the ring. Cole starts off by saying he is tired of playing the game with MJF. Cole then says if MJF is half the man he claims to be then he will fight him, but he’s a little b***h. Cole then says he will beat MJF within an inch of his life once he gets his hands on him. Kyle O’Reilly’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. O’Reilly says Cole fought MJF and it didn’t work out and that’s why they are in this situation. O’Reilly then asks Cole to let him fight MJF. Cole then says he doesn’t want his friends to fight his battles. O’Reilly then says he’s doing it for Roderick Strong. MJF then appears on the big screen and is playing a piano. MJF says he thought long and hard for the last 20 seconds about both men waiting to fight him and the answer is no. MJF then says he is focussed on the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royale taking place next week. Cole then says he is entering the battle royal. O’Reilly then grabs the mic and says he is also entering the battle royal. Cole and O’Reilly then bickers for a moment and then O’Reilly leaves the ring.
