Before he leaves, we hope Damian Williams will hold Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis accountable to the fullest extent of the law for the abuse Janel endured.”

Damian Williams has been a key figure in prosecuting high-profile individuals, including Sean “P Diddy” Combs, New York Mayor Eric Adams, and Ghislaine Maxwell. His departure comes as President-elect Donald Trump announced Jay Clayton as his pick to lead the U.S. Attorney’s office. Clayton, who previously served under Trump as head of the SEC, is expected to take office soon after Williams steps down.
