Roman Reigns is embracing a new chapter in his WWE career, as the Tribal Chief transitions into a beloved “babyface” figure. Speaking on the SI Media podcast, Reigns peeled back the curtain on how his fan reception shifted organically—even during his time off-screen.

“I was very blessed that our storyline was continued and we had such strong characters that we’re keeping everything relevant so there was a build-up for me [to return],” Reigns shared. “And lo and behold, I became a babyface without doing anything, not even being on screen. I guess that’s a testament to the hard work, the collaboration and the storytelling and all the equity we put into this thing.”

Reigns has reunited with his OG Bloodline crew—Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Sami Zayn—forming a powerhouse team to take on Solo Sikoa’s “New Bloodline” at Survivor Series. With Paul Heyman back in his corner and the addition of CM Punk, Roman’s squad is set to battle Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Bronson Reed in a WarGames match that promises to leave fans breathless.

The evolution of Roman’s character from dominating heel to unexpected babyface reflects the powerhouse storytelling behind the Bloodline saga. As Survivor Series looms, the stakes are higher than ever, and fans can’t wait to see Reigns lead his team into what’s shaping up to be an unforgettable showdown.
