Roman Reigns is ready to make an impact on WWE’s Netflix debut, even though he’s technically part of the SmackDown roster. The Tribal Chief confirmed he’ll be a key figure for Raw’s premiere on the streaming giant, set to air January 6, 2025.
Speaking on the SI Media Podcast with Jimmy Traina, Reigns gave fans a peek behind the curtain when asked about his involvement with Raw on Netflix. “I’m on the premiere,” Reigns revealed. “I don’t think I can share too much more than that at this point. We haven’t scheduled my exact dates for going into WrestleMania from Rumble forward, but that is definitely a topic that has to be addressed.”
Reigns acknowledged the importance of WWE’s blockbuster deal with Netflix, noting the high stakes tied to such a massive partnership. “It’s an understandable one for the impact, the amount of money that is part of this deal. These are all great problems to have. Nobody loves being in the tug of war more than me. It usually works out pretty good.”
While Reigns plays coy about his full-time involvement with Raw on Netflix, fans won’t have to wait long to see him in action. He’s set to team up with Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, and CM Punk at WWE Survivor Series in a WarGames match against Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Bronson Reed—a lineup that’s already generating major hype.
Joining Reigns for Raw’s big Netflix debut are some of WWE’s biggest stars, including Cody Rhodes, John Cena, and CM Punk, promising a night filled with unforgettable moments.
