Vince McMahon is now focused on building his new entertainment company following his WWE exit. As part of this new venture, he has brought in some important hires to help run the business.
While speaking on Wrestling Shoot Interviews, Eric Bischoff was asked about Vince McMahon’s new venture into the entertainment industry. Bischoff noted that according to a credible source in the entertainment industry, who is a high-profile agent, Vince McMahon has recently purchased property in Santa Monica, California, which is one of the most expensive commercial areas in the state. Along with this, he has acquired production facilities in the area as part of his new venture.
To help with his new project, Vince hired Kristen Prouty, who used to work for WWE. Kristen worked in public relations, connecting WWE with Hollywood celebrities and making deals for appearances. She worked with WWE for about 10 years and had a lot of experience, though she didn’t report directly to Vince.
“I’ve got a little bit of insider information that I believe to be credible. According to this source—who is a public figure in the entertainment business as an agent, so I need to protect their name—Vince has recently purchased property in Santa Monica. Santa Monica, California, is one of the most expensive commercial areas in the state. He has also acquired some production facilities there.
He’s hired a couple of people. One of them is Kristen Prouty, who was formerly associated with WWE. She was based in Los Angeles and handled a lot of PR work. She had access to celebrities and, whenever WWE needed someone from Hollywood for a program and didn’t have a direct connection, Kristen was the one to make it happen and negotiate deals. She had been with WWE for quite a while—at least since I was there in 2019—and likely spent about 10 years working indirectly for Vince. Although she didn’t report directly to him, she worked with him.“
Vince McMahon also hired another former WWE employee from the PR team, though her name wasn’t mentioned. She lost her job after WWE merged with TKO because of staff cuts. Now, both Kristen and this other woman are working for Vince in his new company, as he puts together a strong team for his latest plans.
“He hired another woman whose name I can’t recall right now. She also worked in WWE’s public relations department. At the time, she and her husband were expecting their first child, but she was let go after the TKO-WWE merger due to redundancy. When two companies merge, there’s always overlap—if WWE had 10 PR people and TKO had 10, they might only need six or eight combined. Both Kristen and this other woman are now working for Vince in his new venture.“
Vince McMahon is keeping most details about his new project secret, but his big hires and major investments show he’s aiming to make a big impact on the entertainment industry. Now based in Santa Monica with a team of experienced professionals, many are eager to see what McMahon will come up with next.
