Ricky Starks has remained absent on AEW television since the March 30 episode of AEW Collision, but he is keeping himself busy with other ventures. That’s precisely why fans were happy to see Starks make his in-ring return after several months.

The former FTW Champion was scheduled for a match against Cody Lane at Glory Pro Wrestling on November 24th, set to be held at the Casa Loma Ballroom. There was a lot of anticipation for the match and it’s safe to say it delivered.

Ricky Starks had a solid match with Kody Lane that fans enjoyed from start to finish. It also marked Starks’ first match since the BTW Welcome to Paradise event on May 31st, which saw him defeat QT Marshall in singles competition.

Starks has been keeping himself busy as he recently made an appearance at GCW Dream On, something that required AEW’s approval. While Starks was backstage at AEW Full Gear, there is no indication he will return to AEW television anytime soon. Therefore, fans will have to wait and see what will become of Starks in AEW, as he clearly has more matches lined up in the independent circuit.
