Pete Dunne is making it clear—he’s done with the “Butch” chapter of his career, and he’s not letting anyone drag him back into it, not even by accident. Dunne, who has been reclaiming his identity in WWE over the past few months, now has R-Truth in his sights after a slip of the tongue landed the veteran wrestler in hot water.

In a fiery WWE digital exclusive, Dunne confronted R-Truth backstage, venting about what he described as “the week from Hell.” According to Dunne, he couldn’t escape the name “Butch,” hearing it “everywhere” he went. When Truth accidentally dropped the name during a conversation, it was the last straw.

Dunne let his frustration boil over, issuing a direct challenge to R-Truth for a match. “We need to settle this,” Dunne declared, promising to take the matter straight to Raw General Manager Adam Pearce.

The challenge underscores Dunne’s commitment to moving forward in his career and leaving the “Butch” moniker in the past. However, as of now, WWE has not officially announced the match for the December 2 episode of Raw, leaving fans eager to see if the confrontation will culminate in the ring.
