Liv Morgan might have defeated Becky Lynch to win the Women’s World Championship at King and Queen of the Ring and even retained the title in Lynch’s last WWE match to date, but she’s not afraid to give credit where it’s due.

Speaking to Inside the Ropes, Morgan dropped her in-ring persona to praise The Man’s influence on women’s wrestling, calling her a guaranteed Hall of Famer.

“I think if Becky never comes back, I definitely think she is 100% a Hall of Famer,” Morgan admitted. “She has become a martyr for women’s wrestling and performance all around. She can do it all. She can deliver in the ring, she can deliver on the microphone. The crowd is compelled by her when she’s out there, not to mention what she stands for in women’s wrestling.”

Morgan also highlighted Lynch’s role in evolving women’s wrestling and putting it on equal footing with the men’s division. “Her goal, I think, was to really evolve it and maximize women’s wrestling and really make women’s wrestling feel just as special and important as the men’s wrestling, and she did it all while being a fantastic brand-new mummy,” she said, referring to Lynch’s ability to balance her career with motherhood.

Of course, Morgan couldn’t resist slipping in a playful jab to remind everyone she’s still the champ. “But with all that, she’s still not as great as me,” she added with a laugh.

Morgan’s rare out-of-character moment shows the deep respect she has for Lynch, despite their fierce rivalry in the ring. With Lynch stepping away from WWE for now, Morgan’s comments offer a glimpse of the impact The Man has had on her peers and the industry.
