Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XII went down at the White Eagle Hall in Jersey City, New Jersey. Lei Ying Lee was set to take on TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich, but nobody expected it to be a title match.

Prior to the match, Masha Slamovich grabbed the microphone, and she proclaimed that she does whatever she wants as champion. Then she promptly put her title on the line, which made this the first actual title match in Bloodsport history.

Although Lei Ying Lee dominated for a bit, Masha Slamovich wasn’t going to be outdone. Slamovich was busted open in the process, but she was able to fight back against her opponent’s strikes. Masha now has a 3-3 record at Bloodsport events.

Eventually, Masha Slamovich took a guard on Lei Ying Lee and she started throwing down a ton of strikes to the back of her head. The referee called for the bell, ending this surprising title match with the champion retaining.

Lei Ying Lee was once known as Xia Li in WWE, but she’s been doing her own thing since then. This was a huge opportunity as Masha Slamovich shocked the world with this title match.

Masha Slamovich surprised fans in a big way when she defeated Jordynne Grace at Bound For Glory 2024. She certainly surprised fans with her title defense at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XII.
