Jon Moxley has officially named his emissary for the upcoming NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty event.

During Night 5 of the New Japan World Tag League on November 24, a video package aired featuring Claudio Castagnoli, a member of Moxley’s Death Riders faction. In the video, Castagnoli chastised Shota Umino for not respecting his elders and promised to teach him a lesson at Wrestle Dynasty.

This confrontation was set in motion back on November 8 at NJPW Fighting Spirit Unleashed, where Moxley interrupted Umino via video, announcing he would send an emissary to face him at the Tokyo Dome on January 5.

The NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty event is shaping up to be a must-watch, with several high-profile matches already confirmed:

  • Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Ricochet for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.
