The AEW Continental Classic 2024 is set, and it’s bringing a stacked lineup of 12 top-tier wrestlers ready to battle for the AEW Continental Championship. Announced on Sunday, the tournament will kick off this Wednesday, November 27, on AEW Dynamite, and promises weeks of intense action as competitors fight for glory.

Here’s How It Works

The tournament will follow a round-robin format with two blocks—Gold Block and Blue Block—and a 20-minute time limit for each match. Wrestlers will earn points based on their performance:

  • Win = 3 points
  • Draw = 1 point each
  • Loss = 0 points

To keep the action clean, everyone is banned from ringside. The top scorers from each block will advance to the block finals on the December 22nd episode of AEW Collision and the December 25th episode of AEW Dynamite. The ultimate showdown will happen at AEW Worlds End, where the tournament winner will be crowned the first-ever AEW Continental Champion.
