WWE is moving toward Survivor Series: WarGames and the company isn’t finished putting the final touches on the card. That being said, a big name was pulled from the event thanks to events that transpired this week on SmackDown.
With Thanksgiving going down next Thursday, WWE is giving the SmackDown roster November 29 off. To make sure that an episode still airs, they pre-taped next week’s show in Salt Lake City, Utah, following the November 22 episode of SmackDown. That means fans have spoilers for next week’s show.
Jade Cargill was pulled from her scheduled triple threat match after a backstage attack during the November 22 SmackDown also caused Bianca Belair to abandon her match. Lash Legend took Cargill’s place in the match. In the end, Michin won the triple threat, becoming the third woman to advance in the Women’s United States Title tournament.
Jade Cargill was also pulled from the WarGames match, which was a bit concerning. During next week’s SmackDown, it was also revealed that Bayley will take the former AEW TBS Champion’s spot in WarGames.
During next week’s SmackDown, Bianca Belair, Naomi, Bayley, IYO Sky, and Rhea Ripley spoke to the crowd about WarGames. Then Liv Morgan, Nia Jax, Raquel Rodriguez, Tiffany Stratton, and Candice LeRae interrupted and mocked Bayley for taking Jade’s spot after that brutal backstage attack. Eventually, everyone started fighting, but officials were quick to jump in and break things up.
Bayley wasn’t originally scheduled to be in the WarGames match this year, which is a change from previous years. Now, the former Hugger is in the match after Jade Cargill was pulled. We will have to see how she does in the match this year.
