John Cena’s depiction of DC’s Peacemaker character truly took him to the next level as a star in Hollywood. He was busy filming for the second season of “Peacemaker” and now it’s been confirmed that Cena has wrapped filming for the upcoming season.
To get fans excited about the upcoming season of “Peacemaker,” John Cena shared a teaser trailer for the same, and it set the stage for all sorts of carnage that will unfold during the highly anticipated season.
Director James Gunn took to Twitter and confirmed that John Cena has finished filming for “Peacemaker” Season Two. He praised Cena and co-star Jennifer Holland, who plays Emilia Harcourt, for their excellent performances as Christopher Smith and Harcourt. Gunn also shared that the last day of shooting was one of the most enjoyable he’s ever had. He revealed gratitude to the people of Savannah, Georgia, for making the filming experience memorable, and mentioned there was just one day left of production.

“Peacemaker” Season Two is set to release in August 2025, so there is plenty of time for fans to catch up on the first season and get acquainted with John Cena’s iconic character. It simply remains to be seen whether the second season will receive the same amount of praise as the first one.
