AEW fans, pump the brakes on those breakup rumors—Anthony Bowens has something to say. With whispers swirling about tension within one of AEW’s most beloved tag teams, The Acclaimed, Bowens addressed the speculation head-on during an interview with ROAR Around The Ring ahead of AEW Full Gear.

Bowens didn’t mince words when asked about the possibility of The Acclaimed parting ways. “What do you mean if something that could work?” Bowens fired back. “The Acclaimed are the best tag team, like I said, in the history of AEW. Max and I, we have a lot more stuff that we need to accomplish. I’m not particularly worried about anything that’s been happening.”

The conversation has picked up steam recently, with MVP teasing Max Caster and fueling speculation about a potential divide. But Bowens remains laser-focused on their goals as a team. “MVP can drop as many cards as he likes,” Bowens added. “Max is entitled to think about it, just like I’m entitled to think about it as well. So I am a lot more focused on making sure we get a W this Saturday at Full Gear, and I’m sure he is too.”

The Acclaimed is set to challenge for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Full Gear, and Bowens made it clear their eyes are firmly on the prize. Despite the buzz, he’s confident that their dynamic remains strong as ever.
