It’s Friday night, and you know what that means! WWE SmackDown will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the November 22, 2024 episode.

The show opens up with Michael Cole welcoming us as a shot of Salt Lake City is shown. We then get a video package recapping everything that transpired last week between the OG Bloodline, the new Bloodline and “Big” Bronson Reed.
Solo Sikoa’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring with the new Bloodline (“The Right Hand Man” Tama Tonga, “The Infamous” Tonga Loa and “The Samoan Werewolf” Jacob Fatu) and “Big” Bronson Reed.
Solo Sikoa starts off by demanding that Salt Lake City acknowledge him, then says he, the rest of The Bloodline and Reed are ready to dominate in the Men’s WarGames Match at Survivor Series: WarGames. Sikoa then says unlike them, Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn and The Usos aren’t ready for WarGames, then demands that Reigns meet him in the ring by the end of the night and agree to the terms of his surrender. Sikoa then says once Reigns surrenders, he and the OG Bloodline will acknowledge him.
Michael Cole and Corey Graves then plugs Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens going face-to-face later tonight, along with Bayley and Naomi vs. Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae and United States Champion LA Knight defending his title against Santos Escobar.
Bianca Belair then makes her way down to the ring for the first match of the night, which is a WWE Women’s United States Championship Tournament First Round Triple Threat Match and Blair Davenport and Chelsea Green follow.
The match starts off with Green rolling up Davenport, but Belair breaks the fall and rolls up Green. Davenport then pins Belair and all three women continue going back and forth. Green then clotheslines Davenport out of the ring. Belair then nails Green with a shoulder tackle and follows it up with a standing moonsault. Green then hits a boot on Belair and follows it up with a Sunset Flip off the middle rope. Green then goes for a pin, but Davenport breaks the fall. Davenport then sends Green crashing out of the ring with a forearm and Belair follows it up with a crossbody on Green over the top. Green then hits a kick on Belair. Davenport then hits her with a back elbow and a double stomp on her spine off the middle rope, but Belair sends her crashing into the mat and looks to hit her with a springboard moonsault. Green then dropkicks Belair and lands on top of Davenport, pinning her in the process but Davenport kicks out.
Green then sets up for the Unprettier, but Davenport avoids it. Belair then hits a double suplex on Davenport and Green and pins Davenport, but Green breaks the fall. Davenport then nails Green with a right hand and climbs up the ropes, but Green intercepts Davenport with a kick and hits her with a superplex. Belair then hits a 450 Splash on Davenport and pins her, but Green sends Belair out of the ring and pins Davenport herself. Belair then drags Green out of the ring and sends her crashing into the barricade. Belair then pins Davenport, but Davenport kicks out. We then see Jade Cargill laying on top of a car after being attacked and Belair runs to the back to check on Cargill. Davenport then goes to pin Green, but Green kicks out. Davenport then looks to send Green crashing into the mat, but Green counters with the Unprettier for the win.

After the match, Green celebrates her win. Bianca Belair is then shown approaching Bayley and Naomi in an ambulance in the back. Belair tells Bayley to stay out of it as it is her partner. Belair then gets in the ambulance and takes off with Jade Cargill.
WWE United States Champion LA Knight then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Santos Escobar follows. Video footage is then shown of Shinsuke Nakamura attacking Knight last week. We then get a video of Shinsuke Nakamura cutting a promo. Nakamura says he has been watching LA Knight and he knows Knight better than Knight knows himself. Nakamura then calls Knight riddled with insecurities and says he is kept up at Knight by his failures. Nakamura then says it is the beginning of the end for Knight.
The match starts off with Escobar taking advantage of the distraction from Nakamura and delivering some stomps on Knight in the corner. Knight then nails Escobar, but Escobar sends Knight crashing onto the apron and sends him onto the floor with a kick. Escobar then follows it up with a crossbody over the top. Escobar then hits a chop on Knight and follows it up with a shoulder on his midsection. Escobar then hits an enzuigiri on Knight and follows it up with a senton off the apron and over the top. Escobar then goes for a pin, but Knight kicks out. Escobar then wears Knight down with a submission and sends him crashing onto the apron, but Knight responds with a shoulder tackle on Escobar over the top rope and delivers some right hands on him. Knight then nails Escobar with a clothesline, then sends him into the corner and hits him with a neckbreaker. Knight then goes for a pin, but Escobar kicks out. Escobar then places Knight on the top rope, but Knight sends Escobar crashing into the mat with a headbutt and looks to fly. Knight becomes distracted by Nakamura standing on top of the entrance ramp, opening the door for Escobar to hit a hurricanrana on him off the ropes and follow it up with a Frog Splash off the top. Escobar then sets up for the Phantom Driver, but Knight escapes and hits the BFT for the win.

After the match, Nakamura delivers a few stomps on Knight and sends him crashing into the ring post three times shoulder first. Nakamura then hits a Kinshasa on the back of Knight’s neck.
Michael Cole and Corey Graves then sends us to a video footage of Tommaso Ciampa losing it on The Street Profits and Johnny Gargano last week. We then head to the back, where we see Johnny Gargano try to negotiate a title rematch with the Motor City Machine Guns. Gargano then tries to explain that Ciampa is a good guy and all he wants is a title match. Sabin then tells Gargano that after last week he thinks the Street Profits should get the next shot. The Street Profits then show up and tell Gargano that his partner is a problem and wonders if he could even call him that anymore.
We then see The OG Bloodline arrive and walking through the back. Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes will be having their face-to-face up next.
We then see WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax and SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis talking in the backstage area. Aldis asks Jax if she knew what happened to Jade Cargill. Jax laughs and says she wants to take Cargill out at WarGames. Jax then says she has been helping Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae prepare for their match. Aldis then walks away to stop Cody Rhodes from making his way down to the ring. Aldis says he doesn’t think Owens is in Salt Lake City and Cody says he doesn’t think so because he doesn’t think Owens will miss the opportunity. Cody then continues to make his way down to the ring as his entrance music hit.
Cody Rhodes starts off by wasting no time and calling Kevin Owens out to the ring. Owens then appears in the crowd and says since you can’t deny Rhodes’ request, he’s here. Owens then says he’s dressed to the nines for Rhodes, while Rhodes couldn’t even put in a suit. Rhodes then demands that Owens get in the ring, but Owens tells Rhodes that he doesn’t get what he wants because he wants it. Owens then says what happened to Randy Orton was Rhodes’ fault and Rhodes gets fired up as Owens storms to ringside through the crowd with officials try to hold him back. Owens then says he fought The Bloodline for four years and they tried to end his career. Owens then clarifies that Roman Reigns tried ending his career and says he stood by Rhodes to fight with him against The Bloodline. Owens then says while he was loyal to Rhodes, Rhodes decided to join forces with Reigns. Owens then vents his frustrations with such especially because Reigns ended his career. Rhodes then says Owens always has to be the victim and he’s always being held down, but no one holds Owens down more than himself. Rhodes then says he self sabotages and wants to be the face of WWE, then recalls what happened in their match at WWE Bash In Berlin. Rhodes then says Orton was Owens’ friend and didn’t deserve what he did to him and he’ll beat him down whether it’s in Salt Lake City, Vancouver, or at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event as the ball is in Owens’ court. Owens then says Rhodes will get his match when he decides, but when they face each other in the ring, he’s doing exactly what Rhodes asked him to do. Owens then tells Rhodes that he hates him and looks to leave, but Rhodes stops him and says he doesn’t think Owens hates him. Rhodes then says he thinks Owens hates himself and there’s not a single line he won’t cross when they eventually meet in the ring.
Michael Cole and Corey Graves then sends us to a video of Solo’s challenge to Roman Reigns earlier in the show. We then head to the back, where we see the OG Bloodline having a discussion. They OG Bloodline agrees they will not surrender. They then float names for their fifth man. Zayn then asks about Cody Rhodes and they said no. Zayn then brings up asking Seth Rollins one more time and Reigns gives him a look that says no. Reigns then says they had all they needed and if they die they will die together. Zayn then asks what the plan is then and Reigns says he doesn’t know.
Naomi and Bayley then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night, where they will face Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae in a Tag Team Match.
Cody Rhodes is then shown walking past Carmelo Hayes in the backstage area and they get into an argument about what Kevin Owens had just said. Both men then get into a shoving match and they had to be separated by Nick Aldis and other officials. Rhodes then tells Aldis that maybe it was time to re-evaluate his top draft pick.
Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night as video footage is shown of LeRae helping Nia Jax defeat Naomi last week. Nia Jax is at ringside watching the next match.
The match starts off with Naomi and Tiffany Stratton. Naomi goes straight after Stratton. Naomi hits a superkick on Stratton’s jaw, then follows it up with a hurricanrana. Stratton then rolls out of the ring, then nails Naomi as LeRae does the same to Bayley. Stratton then sends Naomi back in the ring and tags in LeRae. LeRae and Stratton then look to hit a double clothesline on Naomi, but Naomi avoids it and tags in Bayley. Bayley then hits a tope suicida to land on Stratton on the outside. Stratton then delivers some shoulders on Bayley’s midsection in the corner. LeRae then tags herself in and Stratton gets in her face. LeRae then hits a step-up senton on Bayley, but Bayley nails her with a jawbreaker. Stratton then tags in and LeRae hits a springboard moonsault. Stratton then looks to hit a handspring back elbow on Bayley, but Bayley sees her coming and sends her out of the ring. Bayley then looks to tag in Naomi, but Jax pulls her off the ring apron to cause the disqualification. Bayley then looks to go after Jax, but Jax nails her.

After the match, Jax, Stratton and LeRae continue beating down Naomi and Bayley. IYO SKY then makes her way down to the ring to even the odds, but Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez appear to take her out. Rhea Ripley then makes her way down to the ring with a kendo stick in hand, forcing Jax, Stratton, LeRae, Morgan and Rodriguez to retreat. Ripley then stands tall to end the segment.
Montez Ford then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Tommaso Ciampa follows.
The match starts off with Ciampa and Ford going straight after each other. Ford then hits Ciampa with a dropkick, then follows it up with an enzuigiri and flies over the top rope to land on him on the outside. Ford then sends Ciampa back inside the ring, but Ciampa sends him back out the other side. Ford then nails Ciampa and hits him with a clothesline. Ford then hits Ciampa with a back suplex and kips up, then nails him with a standing moonsault and goes for a pin. Ciampa then kicks out and Ford hits a kick on his midsection. Ciampa then hits a neckbreaker on Ford and Ford nails Ciampa with a knee. Ciampa then sets up for the Fairytale Ending, but Ford counters into a roll up for the win.

After the match, Ciampa attacks Ford from behind. Angelo Dawkins then makes his way down to the ring to even the odds, but Johnny Gargano pulls Dawkins off Ciampa. Ciampa then delivers some right hands on Dawkins, but Gargano pulls him off Dawkins. Ciampa then shoves Gargano, but Motor City Machine Guns make their way down to the ring to come to Gargano’s aid. Ciampa then yells whose team are you on at Gargano as he retreats up the entranceway.
It is then announced that next week Cody Rhodes will take on Carmelo Hayes and the Women’s United States Championship Tournament will continue featuring a match between Michin, Piper Niven and a mystery third competitor, who was supposed to be Jade Cargill.
The new Bloodline then make their way down to the ring to address the WWE Universe and the OG Bloodline. The OG Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn and The Usos) then make their way down to the ring.
Solo Sikoa starts off by saying he never stopped loving Reigns, The Usos or Zayn. Sikoa then says if they join his Bloodline, they can all run WWE for decades to come. Sikoa then points out their lack of a fifth man for WarGames and a “Wise Man”, then pleads with them to join his team unless they want to die where they stand. Paul Heyman’s voice then interrupts Sikoa and he introduces himself, then says he was put through a table a handful of months ago. Heyman then says his math may be a little off, but WarGames can’t be done four against five. Heyman then says it won’t be four against five as it will be five against five and he introduces the fifth man of Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn and The Usos WarGames’ team and he is none other than CM Punk. Punk, Reigns, The Usos and Zayn then brawl with The new Bloodline and Bronson Reed. The five men then take Reed and The new Bloodline down, leaving a stunned Reigns staring down Punk in the ring as Heyman stands on the ring apron. Both men then continue staring each other down as Zayn and The Usos join them in the ring and the show comes to a close.
