AEW’s Full Gear pay-per-view is shaping up to be one of the biggest events of the year, and the lineup is expected got even hotter.
According to a new Fightful Select report, a fresh women’s match is expected to be added to the card, featuring none other than Deonna Purrazzo.
Purrazzo is reportedly set to face Anna Jay in her first match since September 6. Despite her recent absence, sources confirmed that Purrazzo’s hiatus wasn’t due to injury, leaving fans curious about her time away and eager for her return.
This addition bolsters an already stacked card headlined by AEW World Heavyweight Champion Jon Moxley defending his title against Orange Cassidy. Other marquee matches include AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone vs. Kris Statlander, Jay White vs. Hangman Page, MJF vs. Roderick Strong, Swerve Strickland vs. Bobby Lashley, and AEW International Champion Konosuke Takeshita defending against Ricochet.
Deonna Purrazzo vs. Anna Jay promises to add more depth and excitement to AEW’s women’s division, especially with Purrazzo’s reputation as a technical master in the ring. With Full Gear just days away, the anticipation for this showdown—and the entire event—is at a fever pitch.
As a reminder, Ringside News will have live play-by-play coverage of the event over in our AEW Full Gear section.
