Samantha Irvin’s talents simply cannot be denied and she made good use of her skills during her time in WWE. While she may not be part of WWE anymore, Irvin has already confirmed her post-WWE venture as she has begun filming for season 2 of the comedy series “Churchy.”

Samantha Irvin is very confident in her singing abilities, even going so far as to compare herself to Ariana Grande for good measure. While Irvin has chosen to focus on her music career after her WWE exit, that does not mean she will simply limit herself to one profession.

Popular comedian Kevin “KevOnStage” Fredericks took to his Instagram and uploaded several photos of himself alongside the cast of “Churchy,” as they have started filming for the second season of the highly popular comedy series.

What’s especially interesting is the fact that Samantha Irvin is also involved in the upcoming season of the comedy, as Fredericks included a couple of photos of Irvin, where she was all smiles and happy to be part of the show. Fredericks simply wrote, “We are having a blast shooting Churchy season 2.”

The show is inspired by the comedy of Fredericks, who portrays Corey Carr Jr., a character facing a crossroads when his father’s mega-church refuses to let him take over its leadership. Fredericks will return in Season 2 as the new pastor. Season 1 also featured Anthony Elfonizo, Lexi Allen, London Solomon, Mark J. P. Hood, and Shani Shockley. The cast for Season 2 includes series regulars Quin Walters and Tahir Moore, along with guest appearances by Nic Few, Tony Baker, and Tabitha Brown.

Considering the show was just renewed for a second season, it’s no surprise they already started filming. It’s clear that Samantha Irvin is spreading her wings and challenging herself in new avenues and fans of Irvin can’t wait to see how she will be involved in “Churchy” season 2, whenever it drops.
