Max Caster is known for thriving on negativity and controversy, often creating headlines with his raps on AEW television. He doesn’t shy away from any topic, and it seems he even planned to target Matt Gaetz’s misconduct allegations at AEW Full Gear.
Matt Gaetz, who was chosen by President-elect Donald Trump to be the U.S. Attorney General, decided to pull out of the nomination process on November 21, 2024. This decision came after several controversies surrounding him. Gaetz has been under investigation for allegations like sexual misconduct with a 17-year-old girl, which he denies, as well as drug use and misusing campaign funds.
Max Caster took to Twitter and commented on the news of Matt Gaetz’s withdrawal, as he revealed that he planned on target Matt Gaetz’s misconduct allegations by calling Gaetz a “pedo” at the AEW Full Gear pay-per-view on November 23rd, saying, “Damn I was looking forward to calling him a pedo at the PPV this weekend.”
The former AEW Tag Team Champion also managed to draw the ire of many fans after he referenced Vice President Kamala Harris as part of his rap during the November 16 taping of AEW Collision, saying, “These dudes are about to be embarrassed, you’re about to lose bigger than Kamala Harris.” Unsurprisingly, this led to lots of backlash and many fans called for him to get fired.
Max Caster’s current plans in AEW involve teaming up with Anthony Bowens to compete for the AEW Tag Team Titles at the Full Gear pay-per-view on November 23rd. They will face off against the Outrunners, the Kings of the Black Throne, and Private Party in a four-way bout. While Caster has decided not to target Matt Gaetz, fans can still expect him to stir up controversy with his rap during the event.
