AJ Francis Declares Himself the Best Heel in the Business

AJ Francis, formerly known as Top Dolla during his WWE days, isn’t holding back when it comes to his self-promotion—and why should he? The TNA Wrestling star, now leading the First Class faction, recently dropped a bold claim that’s sending shockwaves through the wrestling world.

Speaking to TMZ, Francis confidently declared, “I’m the best heel in TNA. I’m honestly the best heel in the business. If you don’t believe me, debate your barber. Don’t debate me.”

Francis backed up his claim with receipts, pointing to his stellar year with TNA Wrestling. “With the year that I’ve had at TNA, between making Joe Hendry a star, feuding with The Hardys, stealing the show with PCO at Slammiversary—I mean, it’s time for me to get a World Title shot,” he stated.

The former TNA Digital Media Champion has been a standout, delivering memorable performances and heat-generating promos that have solidified his role as the top antagonist in the promotion. Despite being cut loose from WWE for a second time last year, Francis has proven that he’s far from done.

While his contract with TNA expires on December 31, 2024, the self-proclaimed “best heel” is leaving the door open for future opportunities. Francis has been vocal about his desire for a contract that reflects his value. “Do I believe you are going to push me the way I deserve to be pushed, and how much money am I going to make? That’s very simple,” he said during a recent interview with Cultaholic Wrestling.

Francis also gave credit where it’s due, thanking TNA and Tommy Dreamer for believing in him when others didn’t. But make no mistake, he’s shooting for the stars—and maybe even a World Title—wherever his path takes him next.
