Adam Cole finally made his return to AEW at WrestleDream 2024, and he’s been after MJF since then. The Salt of the Earth but up a gauntlet of matches for Cole, but he was unable to win the third contest. All the while, fans were commenting online, but Cole didn’t hear what they were saying after shutting out the social media backlash.

While speaking to Adrian Hernandez, Adam Cole was asked about how he handles negative fan reactions after his matches. The question was specifically geared toward criticism of his performance since his AEW return.

Adam Cole replied to say that he stays off social media. So, he doesn’t hear any of the negative feedback at this point, but he did note that the live AEW fans gave them a fantastic reaction.

“I didn’t quite hear anything that was said as far as the internet goes, I’m not quite as active on social media anymore. As far as the live audience there, I thought they were wonderful. I thought they were great for the matches. Especially the one with Takeshita this last week. The AEW fans are so passionate and so fired up, so it was great to have that feeling again. So, in regards to anything the internet was saying, I’m not really aware of that.”

Hernandez then told Cole, “Good, stay away from it.” That brought a chuckle out of the former NXT Champion.

Adam Cole is making his way back into the thick of things in AEW. He didn’t get his match against MJF at Full Gear, because Roderick Strong racked up his third win in a row before Cole could, but he is certainly waiting in the wings for his former ROH Tag Team Championship partner. During the November 20 episode of AEW Dynamite, Kyle O’Reilly pleaded with Adam Cole to drop his crusade against MJF.

We will keep an eye on Adam Cole at Full Gear. Only time will tell if he gets involved in Roderick Strong’s match with MJF, but this is certainly an interesting situation. Fans will always speak out, and they can be ruthless. That being said, Adam Cole isn’t giving those fans on social media much attention at this point.
