Jon Moxley has been causing chaos in AEW since his shocking return after AEW All In, where he cryptically declared, “It’s not your company anymore.” His actions since have only escalated, culminating in a vicious attack on Bryan Danielson after winning the AEW World Title at AEW WrestleDream. Moxley’s takeover has left fans stunned and the locker room shaken, but one person who’s staying out of it? His wife, Renee Paquette.

Paquette, a backstage interviewer and consistent presence on AEW television, addressed her husband’s hostile takeover on Busted Open Radio. When asked about Moxley’s actions, Renee made it clear she’s keeping her professional distance.

“I don’t know,” she said. “I kind of just steer clear. The truth of it is, when Jon and I go to work, we’ve always been like this: he does his job, and I do my job. I honestly don’t even see him most of the day. He’s off doing his thing, I’m doing mine.”

Renee also spoke about how her respect for Moxley’s craft shapes her perspective. “I immensely respect what he does, and I think that’s another level that helps me understand more of the wrestling business, my relationship with him. I love watching him do what he does. My job is different, and I always really love what I get to bring to the table. I just stick to my job and I let him do his, and then we reconvene at the end of the night.”

While Moxley’s violent takeover of AEW continues, fans are eagerly awaiting his next move. He’s set to defend the AEW World Title against Orange Cassidy at AEW Full Gear, and given his recent actions, it’s clear Moxley isn’t pulling any punches.
